    Where to for Super Rugby?

Thanks to Tex for asking the question. The strongest indication of an answer on arbitration that I've come across thus far.

Second document - Change of shareholding from Imperium Sports Management to Victorian Rugby Union Inc. Cost the VRU $1, so looks like PUT option was used, and debts cleared. Third - just a change of address. Nothing fancy. So, it's happened lads. New owners.

Interesting viewpoint. Given the ARU said they will accept the arbitrators decision, and RugbyWA declared they will appeal, the delay in announcing the result gives some insight on who was successful at arbitration. In the middle of this, we're told on GAGR that the Cox/VRU deal is done...

They went down the arbitration path in order to expedite the process. From what I recall, there was a massive Supreme Court backlog, and it could have been towards the end of 2017 before they were even listed in the WA Supreme Court. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The commitment part is not the problem; it's more focused on having a product for the broadcasters. If there is a dispute on what teams are included, and the competition is not sufficiently prepared in the time for round one, there is a risk the broadcast partners have nothing to broadcast...

Wouldn't rule out the broadcasters getting involved, as they need to protect their investment. Twiggy vs Rupert, now THAT would be a deep-pocket battle.

Yes, you need to appeal on a specific error in how the law was applied in the case, not just a "we don't like the response you gave us". A bit like trying to argue on the vibe of the issue".

Nope, he's probably been told to shut up, just in case any information he reports prejudices the arbitration case. There's been a correlation between his articles and key events in this saga.

What we sort of expected anyway. couldn't see any of the Reds scrummies giving up their spot for Genia, and he needs an OZ home. Guess they are waiting for the arbitration outcome to makeannouncementment.

Yes, you can, you just can't. But, you can tell us, we can keep a secret. Or, we can just ask you random questions. Is he heading north? Is he heading OS, as he alluded to in this re-signing press release? Is he giving up Rugby to take a role in the legal lindustry?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Lots of details in this article from the DT. Basis for legal argument, who's representing who, possible actions. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/rugby/western-forces-future-hangs-in-balance-as-aru-and-wa-rugby-lawyers-argue-on-broadcast-deal/news-story/ff098c0925880e90e759a81e71fd0cb5...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

That's what I usually do, but for some reason, it didn't prompt me for that. Probably because I navigated directly from Twitter.
