    I believe the rationale was that Hooper is a big guy who possesses the engine of an open side flanker - hits a lot of rucks, and makes a lot of tackles and carries. I don’t believe he was used in the lineout at all in that game…

    Yeah, it looks like they've just planted a RWC logo on the 2021 jersey... And those green lines across the front of the white jersey triggers memory of CCC's 2007 nightmare... Maybe that's why they didn't want to wear it?

    I agree, it is a somewhat strange decision to flip on... It's Portugal... It's for a noble cause... They're making the jersey anyways... And provides an opportunity for some match day marketing for another product to sell.
