Waratahs vs Crusaders 2014 Super Rugby Grand Final

I am absolutely gobsmacked nobody has given any credit to the famous Driver Ave Interns.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Phipps can go right into the 9 jersey for mine. Not only has he been on fire but there is also a degree of common sense in keeping his combination with Foley intact. Higgers at current shouldn't be on the bench over McCalman. I also like McCabe on the wing before Horne or Tomane.

Waratahs vs Crusaders 2014 Super Rugby Grand Final

Well done Tahs and much deserved. What a great final is all I can say.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Beale at 10 doesn't quite do it for me. He just isn't direct enough in squaring up an attack. Personally I think his flair will shine brighter out wider. He creates good opportunities but he also thrives in space.

    Reds 2015

We look a bit short on props. One thing you can say with the Reds props is that Holmes and Slipper are proficient on both sides of the scrum.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

Horwill got nutted on these pages for doing that and that wasn't even in a finals game.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

Well done Tahs. Very gutsy win and a great job done at combating where the Brumbies were capable of hurting you most.

    The Other SupeRugby 2014 Semi-Final - Crusaders v Sharks

No surprises at all in this game. Sharks were never going to get away with it a second time. Saders were always going to have the set piece to take it up to the Sharks. Like him or not, McCaw is still a big game player. He was outstanding and so was Carter at 12.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

I would disagree. The NZ set piece has gone up a level with Sam Whitelock. Also notice how Link didn't play both of them in the same 23. Carter's injury was a factor no doubt but Link always had Horwill there in the 23 as an insurance policy. Like yourself I'm not getting dragged into a...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

That's a cute statement but you completely ignore the cold hard fact of Horwill's experience and the logic of playing the more experienced player in the 23. It is about the team balance and not individual merit like some blindly perceive. If we had more than one experienced option, we could...

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Yep, this is just piled with irony. On the flip side and just as amazing is Reds forwards are being selected on set piece value, namely Slipper and Simmons.

    Wallaby Watch 2014

Horwill will be there instead of Skelton. Skelton will see game time throughout the RC but I don't see Link taking two green locks into the 23. To risky for the quality of opposition we are up against and Link will look to use Horwill's experience on the bench.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

Sharks won't win. They won't catch the Saders napping twice and they won't have it all their way at set piece.

Waratahs v Brumbies, SFS Saturday 26 July

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Brumbies get up in this one. They have the set piece and the kicking game to choke the Tahs out of the game.

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

White was man of the match without doubt. Good win Brumbies. I think they will be licking their lips at the thought of facing the Tahs set piece.

The Other Qualifier - Sharks vs Clan - Saturday

Bad luck Highlanders. Despite just falling short, that was an extremely brave effort given the amount of pressure they absorbed.

Qualifying Final 2: Brumbies v Chiefs. Sat. 19/07

Sorry let's just tell the truth and not polish over it with a heap of nice words. The Brumbies must have to have the most gutless fans in the comp. Plenty of piss and hot air on the internet but don't bother getting actually to the game to support their team. That crowd was absolutely...

    Adopt a finalist 2014

HSD is a good drop. You Eskimo's just don't have the climate to get full value out of a cold beer. It's like you only use a stubby cooler to keep your hands warm.

    Adopt a finalist 2014

I'll support anybody who can belt 6 shades of shit out of the Sharks. It is exciting times for those who have teams in the finals. There are good people on here that support both Aussie teams and some quality Kiwi members also. I just wish you all the best because that buzz of 2011 was just...

    Reds v Waratahs, round 19 2014

Are you George Brandis? That sort of statement sure makes you sound like him.
