    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

Alexander is quoted as saying he is trying to regain the weight he lost during his injury , about 7 kgs he said.

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

You're obviously not a front rower ? The lock & no.8 have to bind first , before the front rows engage , & then they bind with the front row as you know .The reason for this sequence is that there is no way you can get an efficient bind between the front & back three ,the way you suggest.

    Scrum - Wallabies Vs Wales

Of course technique is very important , but Wales were definitely bigger & stronger .Saying that the Wallabies weren't binding etc. etc. is ignoring that very basic point. The number of times the ball was ripped from the Wallabies possession , even in the backs , highlighted that fact to me...

Wallabies best 3-2-1 vs All Blacks in Hong Kong

The tight five are always neglected in these types of thread .I give special mention to Nathan Sharpe for a sterling effort.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2010

Hello !! No they're not !! You're wrong. Check out their father Vili , who played 16 tests in the front row for Samoa , & more than 200 games for Sydney club Wests.

Which clubs are the Class of 2010 going to?

Agree with most of your comment , except that the Hills team did not beat West Harbours 3rd grade colts team who as you know went on to win the competition. That game was against a number of colts players that Wests wished to remove from their training squad , & they used the game for that...

    Tickets to Shute Shield Final

Do you guys honestly expect that the Shute Shield competition , which is utterly devoid of promotion by the NSW & Australain RU's throughout the entire season ,& not surprisingly by the media subsequently , is suddenly going to draw a decent crowd to it's grand final ? R.L. & A.F.L. has...

Which clubs are the Class of 2010 going to?

I disagree . The top schools sides may beat the lower ranked colts teams e.g. Parramatta , but would not beat the top ranked colts teams such as Uni & West Harbour. If you look through the weekly programmes you will see that the top colts teams have a number of ex 1 XV players from the schools...

I think Ben James played League this year.

    Vale Sydney Morning Herald Rugby

Spot on. And it is the same in Qld. The criticism should not be confined to the S.M.H. however. What about the other papers , T.V. & radio ? Who knows anything about the state of the competition other than each club's diehards . And it is not just the final series of games that are important ...

    Shute Shield 2010

Isn't West Harbour a club , or do you see them as a feeder club for the others ?

Players at his level are represented by agents / third parties in their negotiations.

I don't know what Uni gave him if anything , but I do know first hand what the asking price was.
