Defeats are easily accepted when they are of this magnitude. And there have been plenty of defeats for the C@B faithful over the last couple of years, although few as comprehensive. Just feel for the kids from Waves who got plenty of respect from their opposition but precious little support...

Given this was the first encounter in a very very long time and Waves were favourites, was surprised to see such a small crowd turn up. Clearly hard to find your way out of Death Valley.

Waves far too strong, especially up front. Too big, fast and skilful. Joeys struggled to compete with their size. Wright, Cornish and Moretti were v destructive and Hardaker looked like he was playing another's game to everyone else. Electric acceleration.

    NSW AAGPS 2017

Joeys led by 5 tries to 2 (one of which was an intercept) so there was certainly some dominance there but Scots fought back, which they traditionally do. Yassmin was destructive (he was cramping up at the end, probably from having to run so far!) but Scots are going to have to do a little...

Link to yesterday's Joeys V Scots game at BVH. Don't miss the hit on the Scots winger at 32secs in. Enjoy.
