Uni often use Tilse as a "fresh" replacement for first grade - that is a massive advantage imo. If they had had him on Friday the Wicks probably wouldnt have managed that late draw.

You would have to hope for a few names to drop in before Saturday. Hopefully Douglas and Volavola get the nod, Tilse and Dennis need a rest though;)

Indeed, three tough games to go. But Brumbies and Sharks have only two games left, so some optimism is due. Final is due on 2/8/14 Same as week 1 of SS finals, we know it has to be at ANZ and a late night game, so could we see 4 grades beforehand? Or all three first grade games?

Next bumper weekend is 3rd test 21/6 Marlins vs Two Blues on Sunday. Its a nice thought to put two games on at 1pm on Saturday but those of us going to the test still wont be able to make a game before 3pm kick-off at Allianz.

Naiyaravaro against O'Sullivan will hopefully be a great contest. A few good contests in this match-up actually, hopefully the weather holds and we get a great game at Merrylands.

From last seasons form and what I expected this year, in my opinion, nobody is really under performing. Perhaps Souths and Uni, but with the change in this years squads and not getting super players released I think its harsh to criticise too much. Everyone has had a blip against someone...

Would imagine Scottish based players in first squad will stay for 2nd set of games. We are going to struggle to put out a full squad for the first game, a few guys involved in finals/play offs in that squad.

DB were you at the Uni Marlins game? I think he was replaced during first half after a hard (but fair) tackle by one of the Manly forwards. There was also a bit of niggle between him and one of the marlins early in the game if I am remembering correctly. Dont think he has played for any grade...

I agree we should take them lightly, but we need some squad rotation at some point during the season. I think we need to blood other front row options as we are thin in that dept. This might not be the game for that, but one or two getting a chance in the backs in place of a few more experienced...
