Lolo Fakaosliea will be great in 2-3 years time. This guys was a man at 16. Watched him on the weekend and his calves are huge, Pocock like. He will be good for the 20's next year and the experience will do him the world of good. I expect him to get some game time for the Country team in the NRC.

It will be interesting at Ashgrove this weekend. It looks like it could be a dress rehearsal for the following week at Ballymore. The Sunnybank and GPS colts teams seem to be matched up quite evenly so players being away may have an effect on the results.

I mentioned it in the country thread that Premier coaches have been told that their players wont be touched until they have been knocked out of the finals. Chances are the City team for the first game wont contain players who played in the GF the Sunday before. Squads announced on 1 August too.

The talk is the Bond job will go to someone coaching OS at the moment. I see Norths are advertising for a Coach for 2015. Hopefully they find someone who is willing to put in 3-5 years to build them up. They seem to have grabbed guys in the past who have had their eye on bigger things.

I have complete faith in McIntyre. Some other players who have a history of crazy things in strange conditions and a general club culture of not playing well in adverse conditions. All I'm saying is that the conditions give your Tigers a shot.

The wind in Brisbane will cause havoc in Premier Rugby tomorrow. I know the Dragon's aren't great in the wind or rain so if Brandon kicks well the Tigers may keep their finals dream alive.

I don't see an issue in the Rams saying to the Eastwood players that we'll look at you, but only if you are substantially better than any other option we have.

I know a few rugby players who went to exclusive schools who didn't get a great education. Some of these schools see these guys as cattle to play rugby and not as student athletes. I'm all for scholarships if the kid gets an education, not if they just play rugby. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
