    RWC 2015

Not at this stage unless I win a trip from Heineken or something awesome like that. Selling a trip to NZ for the World Cup to the wife is a fair bit easier than going to the UK. But if I was somehow able to wrangle it I would have to tie it in with a lot of Beer related tourism. Say, go over...

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

I said "A wedding" not "my wedding". Wouldn't have been stupid enough to put mine on the same weekend as a Test match... And I agree with Kiap on the times. Actual kick off should be around 8:30am Qld time or 9:30am for those with Daylight Saving.

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

I've got a wedding on tomorrow arvo/night so going to whack a 6 pack in the hotel fridge so I avoid a hangover by getting immediately drunk again around 8am Sunday.

ASICS partners with Australian Rugby Union from 2014

With a Bledisloe & the Spring Tour still to go its more likely to be their 12 Days of Christmas Sale or sometime next year before there's any big deals. Hopefully Asics are more successful at making Wallabies jerseys than Reebok were.

ASICS partners with Australian Rugby Union from 2014

Let's hope they put together something slightly nicer than that. And maybe some special edition Asics Wallabies Kayanos...

No. How foolish to think we might need our forwards going forward.

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

Ben Mowen made 4 metres from 2 runs. We need a fair bit more than that from him this weekend against Argentina. And did Lilo even touch the ball as it hardly looks like it - 2 runs for 6m. Timani's effort was 3 missed tackles in 8 minutes & then ending up in the bin so he's hardly made a...

    Pumas v Wallabies, Rosario, 5th October 2013

Albert Anae has been floating around the squad all Championship. Is it time for him to get a crack to provide some grunt off the bench?

    Springboks v Wallabies, Newlands, September 28 2013

We've Still got the Puma trophy Bairdy.. Dozed off after kick off and missed the first 40. From reports that was a good thing to do. I'd like to see Fat Cat get a start next week. Didn't like too much of what the tight 5 delivered in the 2nd 40. Timani card was just stupid stuff and Fainga'a...

    TRC 2013 touring squad

I'm reserving judgment on this whole thing. Seems odd he got through check-in, security and passport control only to be pulled up at the gate for being too drunk. Are any of the Perth airport bars/lounges even serving booze at 3:30-4:30am? Wondering if it's more of a case of him being an...

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

Brand spanking new World Class 50,000 Seat Stadium in a city that's been starved of rugby for years - Adelaide. And only 10 minutes walk from the Cbd to the ground. You could even throw in a Gagr tour to the McLaren Vale brewery.

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

So if Perth is getting the Boks next season, does that mean Argentina will be headed to the Adelaide Oval. The 3 France Tests have already gone to Bris, Mel & Sydney and there'll be a Bledisloe in Sydney & Brisbane too. Which only leaves the Arg match if the ARU are to stick with JON's...

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

Wallabies have opened up at $1.20 in the betting with the Argies up around the $4.70 so clearly someone thinks we'll win it, and by around a dozen points by the looks of the line betting. Have to wonder how this season would've panned out if KB (Kurtley Beale) had kicked the winner in the 1st Lions Test. Does...

Australia v Argentina, Sept 14th in Perth

Not sure about that. I'm hoping he's in there for his size and that our 'dumbed down' gameplan includes a play very similar to this.......

Rory Arnold has successfully appealed his ban so can get back out there for Griquas http://m.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/aussie-arnold-wins-rugby-bite-ban-appeal-20130910-2tgqk.html

    Reds 2014

I think Turner could do a very similar job for the Reds to what Rathbone did at the Brumbies this season. Doubtful he'll play every match but just needs to keep himself fit & in the mix and his chances when they come. And he'll put pressure on the blokes in front to play well.

    Gold Coast 7's - 12 & 13 Oct

Part of the problem is that it's an expensive day out if you really get into it and buy a costume and everything. But looks like Reds members can get half-price 2 day pass if they join up again soon. http://redsmembership.com.au/Membership_Add_Ons

    Reds 2014

I think Hoffman would go well but it's doubftul he'd come across as he represents the Kiwis in league. So he'd need to be convinced to play for the good guys for a start.
