I could not agree with this more! It'll also give them the incentive to play well & hold their position in the squad.

Probably from when he had the surgery, which was around 6 weeks ago. I remember hearing that he might have been close to ready for the current tour. Not that he would have gone on it, even if fit with all this other crap going on.

And this is how he ultimately dug his own hole, the 1 year contracts. It was a gamble which didn't pay off. The only thing for him to do now is come back better & stronger next year & prove that he is still worthy of a full contract... and take the longer one this time ffs!

The Reds can only pay so much I believe, the rest is up to the ARU, how does that equate to other franchises subsidising? I actually think that all test players should be on incentive contracts to play for Australia, perhaps then we'd see some consistency in performance at test level...

I tip him to back himself, come out & have another blinder of a year in S15 helping the Reds lift another Championship Trophy, in the meantime earning himself the biggest pay deal in ARU history when he is instrumental in helping the Wallabies beating the Lions & bringing back the Bledisloe.

I can't understand this attitude, I don't want my national team to lose (especially to the Poms) just on the off chance that it might lead to a change of coach & make one feel all smug in the knowledge that they called it. Whatever your feelings on Deans, you still have to get behind your team...

I used to think the same, but on recent performances I have been converted to the altar of the Honey Badger. This kid has guts & determination.... he looks pretty good in Green & Gold. You have to let past prejudices go mate. The Honey Badger has evolved!
