    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

It looks to me as though we really have to inject a bit of size into our forward selections. The last 15 or so minutes of the game were a bit scary, those huge French piggies looked bloody dangerous to me. Our lineout was feeling the pressure. I would be really worried if I thought they...

    Wallabies 2021

It's a balancing act for Rennie. He has to win games this year, as well as assembling and blooding potential players for the future. It really is about time that the franchises openly agreed to work with him.

Not so crazy. Would Banks be good enough for the Top 14?

    Wallabies 2021

I'm pretty sure that I read somwhere (maybe the SMH) that Rennie intends to pick the best available team for Tuesday.

Paisami is a try maker and a heart breaker.

Nothing against Lolesio, I hope he makes the grade. But JOC (James O'Connor) has another couple of years in him I reckon.

He has also been around the rugby block a few times. I would much prefer to see Tate on the bench at this stage of his career. His day will come, soon enough.

Lonergan might just be a better finisher.

Winter Tour; Wallabies v France Wednesday 7 July, Brisbane

Hodge and Gordon have a bit in common. Neither is ever going to be a superstar. Neither will ever leave the field without having emptied his tank.

The bench will be pretty crucial, did he pick one?

    Rugby 7s general chat

I suspect he might have been caught between two alternative choices, maybe he bulked up a bit for the 15s and lost some of speed, agility, whatever. I hope the respective coaches - Rennie and Walsh - give him the right advice that is best for him and best for the national teams.

    Rugby 7s general chat

Tim Anstee looks pretty unlucky to me. One minute he is being touted as a possible Wallaby, the next he is not good enough for Sevens.

    Wallabies 2021

Nothing to do with PC culture is it? It is just a simple fact. If we picked 100 people at random they all reach different performance targets for just about every attribute imaginable, physical, mental, whatever. Measuring devices - stopwatches, tape measures, barbells, do not have opinions.

    Shute Shield 2021

Being "warehoused" must suit their players as well. Success begets success, of course. The more successful clubs are more likely to attract supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and so on, which also leads to yet more success. I hate to admit it, but if I were a young fella with a lot of...

Does anybody have any updates on whether fixtures will be played tomorrow? I just received an Eastwood email that seems to think we will be hosting the Marlins. Here's hoping......
