    Refereeing decisions

There's also some basic physics you can bring into point of contact in a tackle that could at least be used in the discussion rather than just still frames. If you get hit directly in the head, your head is pushed back by the direct force. If you get below the jaw line your head whips...

    Refereeing decisions

All professionals should have some sort of performance review. Players certainly get them in spades with match reviews and work ons from coaches as a result. It would be unprofessional not have some sort of performance review, especially when your performance has been questionable.

SEQ Western Rebels might get a crack , just need a financial backer. Where’s Big Clive when you need him ?

Indeed there is , hopefully the general vibe got picked up on.

So Uru resigned. From the front page of this thread you have Liam Wright , ASY (Angus Scott-Young) and Wallis with contracts ending this year. Wilson and McReight have contracts already inclusive of next year, as does TTT. We have a stacked back row progression , but someone you think will miss out. The...

That shows commitment, well done . If you get a chance or haven’t already done so , have a look at the recent Easts v UQ game or even the mini match on Stan. Grealy was at a different level that day .

You can’t have watched him too closely if you think his form isn’t great . He and the Oats brothers have been killing it at the back for UQ.

Wests Rebels Reg? Can see the Mack Truck emblem with the surrounding stars being a neat fit………..

Colts 1 to 2nd Grade to 1st Grade makes sense on any given Saturday for your bench , not because of crowds.

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

This + our often inaccurate/non-existant first clean-out is the reason we are being owned with the ball. Not the size of our lads. First to arrive in a good position often wins when it comes to the breakdown. Ball runners hard at the advantage line with support on their inside hip makes for...

    2nd Test Wallabies v France 8pmTuesday 13th July,

Anyone got any ideas on why our attacking rucks stink? You could see the downhill slide in the Tests last year, the alarming thing is it hasn’t been corrected. We are getting owned when we have the ball.

Yep , previously only signed Reds’ players have got exemptions from the minimum number of games required to play finals. The only other avenue is an injury dispensation where you can prove injury prevented you from playing the minimum number of games required. Not sure how often that has been...

The Sunnybank front row were good last weekend, he'll be tested come scrum time. With all these Super Rugby players from other franchises lining up for Wests , their 2nd Grade team should be coming home with a wet sail.;)

Yeah, an injury is never great, Nasser was starting to show the benefit of playing regular minutes at #2 in QPR. The season ending foot injury will make next year all that more difficult for him to press his case in Super Rugby. He's still only 22, when is he currently contracted to? EDIT...

He’s getting more and more minutes, played about 30 on Saturday, that would have nearly killed him 4 weeks ago! Agree about the benefits of having Moore around for the group. He is big on standards and certainly lets the group know when he thinks they’ve slipped, plus they all listen.

He certainly would fulfil the "experienced" part of the wish list.:)

He has started training with UQ , could just be to keep fit, no idea if he plans on playing. So from a Reds’ point of view , he’s in Brisbane and at least training.

The final few weeks of QPR are set up for a cracking finish. Brothers, Bond and Wests all have clutch games with only 2 points separating 3rd and 5th. Points differential could end up deciding who gets play finals. Brothers’ run home : Easts (A), Sunnybank (H), Bond (A) , GPS (H) Bonds’ : UQ...

Rodda was an Easts lad initially, what the fuck have Wests become if they are just the place other Super Rugby franchises land their players? Good luck in your development, I’m sure the young fellas at Wests coming through feel great about their opportunities.

How does Frank Lomani play for two different clubs in two weeks? Who is he likely to play for next week? What’s the number of games you need to play finals if you are not a Reds’ player?
