    Rebels vs Sharks - 2011R04

I think if Gerard didn't get injured, chances are Rebels win the game. But cest la vie. Those criticising Huxley at the back end should note that Cipriani had a big hand in those issues, the only one that was solely down to Huxley was the clearance, and even there, Kingi was poor (actually he...

    Rebels MOM vs Sharks

    3. Saffy 2. Gerard 1. Somerville Hons Cippers, Delve, G.Robinson, and young Mr Pyle did pretty well too. Mortlock not an Hons for mine, but did show one or two signs that it's coming back to him. Hux was great for 60...

    Brumbies v. Crusaders - 2011R04

It's the kind of performance that makes a Tahs fan's heart sing... I actually only saw the last 2min. 52-10 though, OUCH.

    Waratahs 2011

I'd be pretty surprised if it was Dave. As Hawko said, he made the most tackles of any Tah so it's hard to call that disinterested. More likely to have been a second-rower I suspect.

    Rugby - not set pieces

Yeah thinking about it a bit that's the conclusion I came too. Well, certainly that the individual in question was located between the front and back rows.

Is Link's calculated approach hindering Coopers development?

    Let's just say...Quade's got wood.

    Classic Bledisloe Match for Charity

Yes I suppose it'd be a bit different with Larkham, Mortlock, Langford, Frier, Caldwell, and who knows maybe you could have cameos from Dell and Matt Rogers to make it a truly inclusive evening. But really, it was a game that put the fun in fundraising and by george it did that well.

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

I'd redirect you back to cyclo's main question - "What particular aspects of his game this season are below Test standard?" Setting aside the contention of 'tried and failed', I'd be interested to hear your answer to this.

    Classic Bledisloe Match for Charity

Lol more youngish guys in the ruck and plenty of pace out wide, kiwis burning it up! Crofty and Latho (Latho particularly!) need to take the Wobs by the scruff of the neck. I know it's not a particularly serious game but Crofty is the wob who looks most able to pull a jersey on I reckon.

    Super Rugby refs inconsistent?

Basically, my argument with facts. You are the devil incarnate Lachie.

Australian sides and their woeful studs (or boots)

That explains a LOT about Richard Brown! :P

Australian sides and their woeful studs (or boots)

Oh yes, I admit mine came in black, black or black. Actually, that's a lie. Canterbury are black...with a red trim for those flashy sideline runs.
  18. MrMouse

Australian sides and their woeful studs (or boots)

I think a lot of it comes down to the use of blades, particularly in the backs, and other moulded boots. You simply can't go past studs, and I'll share a secret. I never ended up face down in a scrum, and I was renowned for my scrummaging abilities. In part, due to my brutal hit, mesmerising...

    Tahs MOM v Crusaders

...Isn't Alan Jones the Alan Jones of rugby? Just sayin'

    Super Rugby refs inconsistent?

Or the impact on the left side of the mandible dislocated it (not in the 'popped' sense but in the uncomfortable, jaw rubbing sense) to the right. It all hinges on whether he really was feeling it the rest of the game. Testimony from a Brumbies fan who was there seems compelling on that score...
