fuck me Ita Vaea is carrying a bit of weight. looks 10kg too heavy. Has he been signed by any team for next year?? needs some time on the treadmill that bloke

    Kurtley Beale

Agree with the above. But just out of interest, just what exactly will be considered a "slap on the wrist"?

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

True but it is undeniable that the heavier you are the harder it will be to move you. Skelton has a good 20 kilos on our current starting 2nd rowers. He definitely needs to work on his technique but if you improve his technique he should, in theory, improve our scrum. Much like Palu. I always...

Can we take wages on likely punishment. I'll go with: 1) suspended for six months; 2) required to attend Counselling; and 3) pay nominal fine.

    EOYT 2014

Cant say I'm not a little bit concerned about Cheika giving favouritism to his Tah players on the EOYT and for the WC next year. I think Cooper is our best 5/8 but I doubt we'll see much of him with Cheika in-charge. On the bigger picture, I'm very concerned that the likes of Dave Dennis...

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

With so little time with Cheika before their first game I think I'd go with this:- 1. Benn Robinson 2. Fainga'a 3. Alexander 4. Simo 5. Will Skelton 6. McCalman 7. Hooper 8. Scott Higginbotham 9. White 10. Foley 11. Speight 12. Lilo 13. Kuridrani 14. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 15. Folau 16. Hansen 17. Slipper 18...

    EOYT 2014

In terms of looking at players for next year: Prop: too late to blood new talent. We need experienced props for next year. Shame Sio couldnt go on tour and play TH. might be too late to consider converting him to TH/LH for the WC. Need to find a way to get Alexander out of the 23. 2nd row: keen...

    EOYT 2014

Scrum is a major issue. If you looks at the difference between the Argentina away and home games, we were dominant on the Gold Coast and then dominated over there. The big difference was TPN. Without him (or Moore) we will be under pressure. Plus we have had Fardy packing down behind the TH...

    EOYT 2014

I usually have low expectations for the NH tour, but even with all of our injuries I think we could do a clean sweep this year. Missing guys like Fardy and TPN will effect our chances but provided the scrum holds up and Cheika has a good effect on the team I could see us scoring plenty of points...

    EOYT 2014

I hope Slipper and Kepu are rested, or at least benched for the Barbarians game. those guys deserve a bit of respite.

    EOYT 2014

Sounds like Cheika didn't actually pick the squad. Good to see Fardy, Palu and TPN rested. We'll need those guys at peak fitness next year. McMahon is a cool inclusion. Disappointing to see no Sio. Not the strongest touring squad, will be difficult to beat England with this squad.

    Next Wallabies Coach.

I think the Beale talk is irrelevant. Cheika will have no say, or influence, on the punishment they give Beale. He may however be a factor in influencing Beale to stay on next year without a top-up.

    Next Wallabies Coach.

I like the idea of a Cheika, Larkham, Foley set up, Foley is a great forwards coach and had the wallabies pack humming back when he was last involved at national level. Going by Saturday, the team doesn't need massive changes to compete get to where we want them.

    Ewen McKenzie Resignation

Not that I necessarily believe Cheika should be the new coach, but I don't see why Cheika couldn't easily address that aspect of his coaching if he took the job. To be fair to Cheika, he coached the tahs to the title this year with very little emphasis on set piece work, and as most of us will...
