So it looks like Box Hill's number 8 from the last couple of seasons has moved to Footscray.

Few trials happening around the place this weekend. Kiwi Hawthorn are hosting Footscray and they are playing 2 games. Another trial game happening at Northern and another one where Quins are in Ballarat for a game.

I think next year, with the wider squad for the Rebels and they lesser teams in the Dewar Shield should see the standard rise a bit with more professional players playing in the comp. Should be good fun.
