    All-Time Crim 1st XV

Can’t remember who’s halfback in this selection these days. I remember putting Matt Henjak up as he’d attacked a teammate. To attack a teammates missus is definitely a step up from that. Gotta attract the selectors' attention with performances like that

I’ve been in the pub when Kent has arrived. His angry little guy thing on tv is not an act.

    Wallabies 2023

Was about to make the same comment. Larkham was undercooked with injuries. Berrick surprised me in that tournament, thought he filled in well. Did we only bring 2 5/8ths that time?

Round Five: Waratahs vs Chiefs Friday 7:30 pm

Agree. You could say the same if Carter Gordon was at 10, at the Rebels he’s attacking the line a lot more than our 10s have, seems a bigger threat with ball in hand. Perese (and Walton this week) have looked off the pace, which is understandable coming off injuries. Our 10s have been shoveling...

Round Five: Waratahs vs Chiefs Friday 7:30 pm

I get that. I think Lamberts drop was off a break in broken play. Which isn’t really the situation I see it useful, unless he was expecting the ball and running onto it at a million miles an hour. It would’ve been better to dummy to lambert and swing it to Walton, Perese, etc with space, time...

Round Five: Waratahs vs Chiefs Friday 7:30 pm

What do you think we did differently in that period? I haven’t watched the replay yet, but It seemed Pietsch and Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) went looking for the ball a bit more in the second half. I personally don't mind the short passes between the forwards at the line. It makes the defense shift their focus...

Round Five: Waratahs vs Chiefs Friday 7:30 pm

At the game it seemed we had no thrust in attack, me missed Gleeson and another few strong carriers. Think we are relying on getting the ball to certain players and set plays, which good opposition can read. Also thought Walton looked short of a run, which he would be.

    Wallabies 2023

not sure where he rates them: FH: only Pasitoa, Harrison and edmed out. C: Foketi and Mosese. Is ikitau still out? HB: some form issues, no injuries.

Yeah, that’s a worry if Donaldson got hurt. I haven’t seen enough of Dowling to know how he’d go. Walton might be able to fill in at a push? Or Goddard outside Gordon?

    That thing is horrible

    Waratahs 2023

I think he’s not getting any early ball. Opposition teams have figured him out a bit and just rush up on him, pretty much tackling him the second he gets the ball. We need a few players (winger, fb a loosie?) running lines (decoy or not) off the 5/8 because at present it’s telegraphed it’s going...

Round 4: Hurricanes v Waratahs, Friday 17th March

We look so much better utilizing the short passing game. We just seem to drop the tactic at some stage. Revert to one out running and out the back plays off slow ball.

As far as Gordon kicking goals. He has been a goal kicker before, he’s a talented athlete. If he’s given a shot at 10 for the Wallabies, if he’s required to kick goals, he will practice them and hopefully do fine.

    Waratahs 2023

From what I heard Ramm has English parents. Probably helps get around foreigner quotas and immigration expenses for the club. He could be the Waratahs actual Mack Hansen. maybe someone could blame the Brumbies for letting him go if he gets an English cap?

    Wallabies 2023

I remember at some stage the ARU “centralised” the academy system with bases in NSW and Queensland, which meant they didn’t have to fund each individual Super Rugby teams academy. It also meant aspiring players from Canberra, Victoria and WA had to relocate to be involved. Not sure how long that lasted.
