Law question - TPN's tackling technique

Its a dangerous tackle plain and simple. I don't see why the existing "dangerous tackle" law can't be applied to TPN's technique. Surely the risk of injury to the ball carrier is extremely high regardless of whether or not he uses his arms or not. I reckon the damage would be even worse if was...

    Australia v England @ Twickers 17 Nov 2012

Are we seriously going around the merry-go-round again? Back to wanting Barnes as 10? Barnes was running around at 10 all year and it was a disaster. I don't think it matters who runs out in the green and gold next weekend as we are going to get hammered. With the lack of leadership and ability...

Australia v. France 10 Nov 2012 Stade de France, Paris

absolutely shocking.....same old shit, different opposition. We have forgotten how to play rugby. Not from a lack of trying, just lacked basic execution, in ability to play with any structure. Embarrassing, just f**king embarrassing.

    Team Rehab!

Has anyone heard how Lealiifano's rehab is coming along? A possible time frame on his return? Interesting the way Cooper is not included in the rehab team list above.

    John O'Neill resigns

I haven't watched the announcement yet but I am wondering that this means for RD. What are the chances of the ARU finding RD's replacement while he is in Europe and then handing him his marching orders upon return? Or do we think that he is going to be around until the end of the Lions tour next...

James O'Connor, other podcast guest - Questions

Can JOC (James O'Connor) give us any other injury updates? Who might be back for the Brisbane Bledisloe match and who might be back in time for the EOYT?

James O'Connor, other podcast guest - Questions

How involved are The Rebels and the ARU in his recovery and return from injury? Is this something that the rebels medical team are primarily responsible for or is the wallabies medical team the ones working with JOC (James O'Connor)? Does he believe that the long injury list is the result of anything other than...

Greg Peters CEO of SANZAR Podcast Guest - Questions

Any chance that we could see a SANZAR Barbarians side take on northern hemisphere tour or even a The Lions anytime in the future?

2012 Australia vs New Zealand - 20 Oct

The Darkness will run on strong favorites no doubt about it but there have been much bigger upsets in the sporting world should Australia get up. It is still #1 vs #2. It will take a massive effort and the rub of the green to go our way but this one is in Brisbane and I am starting to feel that...

    The Podslam..some ideas

Any interest in having Phil Blake on for a chat? Interesting to get his thoughts on the teams progress. I understand he has been bought on as the defensive trainer which is interesting considering he was an attacking powerhouse during his time in league. He and his brother were dynamite at manly.

2012 Rugby Championship R5G1 Springbokke vs Wallabies @ the Bull Ring

Quade telling it how it is

Yes, I wish he had just said so. That would have saved clowns like me from spending way to much of my time wondering what heck his problem with his "environment" are. I was just affording him more credit than was apparently due and left with little option other than to resurrect my dreams of...

Quade telling it how it is

Yes, agreed. It would have been nice if he did. I am sure he has a valid gripe in there somewhere but unfortunately for QC (Quade Cooper) his persona and general intellect are doing him a great disservice.

Quade telling it how it is

Mate, your response to my post was dismissive at best by simply chalking it up to QC (Quade Cooper) being a moron. I have agreed he is a moron, moved on from that and I am now wondering what the f**k he was alluding to. A moron he maybe, but I don't believe he is delusional.

Quade telling it how it is

He made comment several times during the interview that the "facilities" available to the team were not to a standard that he thought they should be. What exactly he meant by "facilities" I am not 100% sure but in my long winded post earlier I suggested that "facilities" may be Cooper-speak for...

Quade telling it how it is

Yeah, I sensed the same thing with the Phipps / QC (Quade Cooper) combination last. Another element at play for QC (Quade Cooper) given his #1 bro on the field, Will Genia, is going to out for an extended period. Maybe the thought of him having to play with Phipps again led him to perform his career Hari-Kari.
