Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Yes, everyone drops a ball from time to time and it was a huge occasion with massive pressure - however - I would argue that these types of errors at critical points in the match are the hallmark of an underdone player who hasn't played a lot of footy lately. These are the errors that drive us...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Agree with your there. The difference between tonight and last week was the lack of space out wide - or rather our inability to get the ball to the outside when the space was there. Tomane is of the same mold as Folau in that they need the space to be at their most damaging. When our midfield...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I am not a Palu hater so much and I thought the big guy had a better game tonight.......my issue with him is who he keeps on the bench. We have other options and I liked the shape of the pack a lot better when Mowen went to eight.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I agree with you in principle BR but I think what let us down in this case was that the support players weren't being accurate enough. Yes, they need to be deep enough in a support line sense but as soon as that player hits the ground they were too slow, or ineffective at cleaning out. This is...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

I didn't think Sanchez was that great tonight. Lots of slow ball, passing not as sharp as usual and showed some poor ball awareness at critical times. To his credit, I think he is carrying some extra responsibility as he seems the one who has been left to direct the team on attack. He isn't...

Jesus RD......talk about a coach choking under pressure. The post-match interview says it all mate - you got nothing to say and no ideas....well, any good ideas anyway.

You can't drive the car from the back seat James - step up son!

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

We are never going to get a clear direction in attack when our fly-half is only continually AWOL. Someone needs to step up Lilo - JOC (James O'Connor) - Beale whoever - one of them needs to start getting some more quick ball at first receiver.

Couldn't agree more. He is consistently good. For me, when someone mentions Irish rugby, I think if two names - BOD and Tommy Bowe.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

In other words, JOC (James O'Connor)'s success at 10 depends on Lilo & KB (Kurtley Beale)'s ability to do his job for him. I know it's a gee-up but I couldn't resist. I just don't buy the whole arguments that JOC (James O'Connor) sucked at 10 last week because who was playing beside him. He sucked - period, and I am not expecting anything...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Have to agree with Jets on this one. As much as I want the boys to pull one out and keep the series alive, I have a gut feeling this could get ugly. I think the team looks good on paper with the two exceptions of Simmons and JOC (James O'Connor) at 10. For mine, Simmons is a liability. I just don't think he is a...

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

With all due respect Groucho, when was the last time RD demonstrated that he had half-a-clue as to how to get the "best performance" out of this current crop?

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

Yeah they did........they should have been up early shopping for some new frickin big-boy rugby boots and then trotted themselves down the park for some kicking practice!

Wallabies: Latest Injuries and selection for Test 2

There in lies the problem I think. The sooner these two clowns realize that as high profile professional athletes that are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year PERFORM rather than act like "22 year olds with nothing better to do the next day" then the better off they will be - not to...

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

Oh, my! This is finally what we have come to? We have become and English rugby team. Haven't the tables turned now! I think a little bit of sick just came up.......

Australia vs British and Irish Lions 2nd Test (Melbourne)

From the IRB website..... "The International Rugby Board has confirmed to the Australian Rugby Union that it will appeal the James Horwill disciplinary decision following an extensive review of the case. Australia captain Horwill was cited for a stamping contrary to Law 10.4(b) during the...

Isn't the IRB the ruling body in this case? Are they appealing their own decision?

    Digby WTF?

When is the ARU going to comment on this one? You think Digby would just present himself at the local cop-shop. The magistrate's obviously a Lion's fan ;)
