Reds vs Sharks Rnd 4 2012

Well done to the sharkies on the win, it was a courageous come back and they pounced on the situation perfectly. To be fair to link, if lucas and harris didn't go off injured I highly doubt we would have lost that game. For 2 and a bit years now the reds have been taking a punt on the 5/2...

    Waratahs V Force - Superugby Rd 4

I heard the Boo's at the end and for a brief moment there I almost felt sorry for the waratahs. Almost.

    Western Force 2012

As long as they are not from the Free State eh, might end up with wife in no time.

    Waratahs 2013

The player still has an incentive to play well even if he has been told he will not be needed next year, as he has to impress the other teams enough that they sign him.

Reds vs Sharks Rnd 4 2012

I think objectively the sharks are favourites. But I've learnt better than to write off this supremely confident qld team. Link will have a plan, they will have a crack.

    Super Rugby Membership Watch

Does anyone know if and when the reds are launching the 3 game memberships?

    Wallabies Assistant Coaches

Kaino and Read. There you go. If Kaino doesn't come good by bled time and Palu is fit and in form we will probably have a good chance at winning the thing.

    Shoulder Charges and Brain Injury

I think the problem can be contained by firstly banning the shoulder charge but also by reducing interchanges/having rugby style substitutions. The latter would necessitate a higher level of fitness meaning the players would on the whole be lighter and more fatigued - leading to less intense...

    Wallabies Assistant Coaches

I dont want to start this argument up again. But I truly believe that Australia would have been better served with JOC (James O'Connor) at 12. The change should have been made when gits was playing poorly in 2010 to give him some experience in the position. McCabe was picked after only a few professional games...

    Scrums 2012

I didn't mind the hit when I played rugby, but the play is so much more cynical at the professional level that scrums collapse far too often. Removing the hit doesn't take anything much away from the contest at scrum time but it would drastically reduce the number of resets.

    Scrums 2012

I would rather they just bit the bullet and did away with the hit so everyone has enough time to sort themselves out before the lions tour and WC.

    Reds 2013

I think it may depend on what links plans are as well. If he's taking on the wallaby job as expected I think quade will stick around.

    Reds 2013

From a poaching point of view: James Hanson - Rebels will be interested, the rest are sorted at hooker. Greg Holmes - A quality prop who is in the prime of his career. Might be fielding offers from the NH. Ed Quirk - Rebels might be after him and the tahs might inquire but I dont expect he...

    Brumbies v Cheetahs Super Rugby R3 2012

Mowen has done well in the first few games and is certainly up there with higgers for the wallaby 6 jersey.

    Brumbies v Cheetahs Super Rugby R3 2012

It will be a shame if Fardy and Mogg are not able to be selected once injured players return due to being in the EPS. This is a massive cock up by the ARU and will stifle the development of many players.

    Brumbies v Cheetahs Super Rugby R3 2012

I was referring more to his mentality. He does some good things as well as some bad. I dont doubt that mogg could have made that kick at training, but under preassure during a game he fluffed it. As I said though he did some good things as well.

Waratahs v Highlanders - Super Rugby round 3

Labeling bryce lawrence a shithouse ref doesn't do justice to how bad he is at times.

    Brumbies v Cheetahs Super Rugby R3 2012

In hindsight it was a good decision but all it would have taken was a knock on or a poor engagement by the brumbies and they would have lost that game. I probably would have taken the scrum from that distance and gone for the try. An interesting game from the brumbies. I thought prior was very...

    Force v Hurricanes Super Rugby R3 2012

I thought Cotteral was a visible improvement on brown when he came on. Sure the force have pocock who is arguably the best player in the world; but the rest of the back row are "not-ers" as lee grant would say (not a 6, 7 or 8), and are defiantly not in the same class as Reid, Higginbotham...

    Force v Hurricanes Super Rugby R3 2012

God the force were shit. Badly in need of a second play maker, or even a first one. Apart from Pocock I think their back row is a tad over rated. Especially brown and hodgeson's running games.
