    Wallaby Watch 2014

I really want Chieka to stay the course with Hodgson as captain. He is by far good enough to hold the starting openside spot but the Wallabies badly need a mature head at the helm. He just might be the catalyst to bring the show together. He brings no baggage to the job, is an experienced...

    Rebels 2015

I really hope the Rebels can build off what the Rising has shown in the NRC. It shouldn't be to hard to transplant it.

    Reds 2015

I haven't seen much of the NRC but what's his pace like? Does he get around good enough to play blindside? What's your view Ash. Sounds like he would be wasted on the bench but we have a well established international locking combo.

    Reds 2015

Hunt has the attributes that can really compliment the Reds. He is a tough bastard and always good for beating the first defender. He has good linking skills and a good all round defender. He will shine I think. I think the Reds have recruited bloody well in the backs. Our players all look...

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

Hodgson is an outstanding choice for captain.

Cooper not the Messiah but he does have a skill set that Foley is yet to match. Ignore the razzle dazzle and look at how he structures the play. He has a very astute and quick thinking footy brain. I also rate Foley. He is brave in how he keeps a flat line, he has bloody good skills also...

Not sure about Genia. Quade Cooper also may have a lot to do with next week. If the Genia Cooper combo carves it up, I would be surprised to see it start next week. I wouldn't be surprised to see our halves used a combo, weather it be the Tahs or Reds combo.

Just get the thing to break even so we can profit from the development benefits of players to the higher levels. Aim for the profit at that level.

The NRC needs a broader since of community, not just the existing rugby community. In it's first year we can't expect miracles and it will take several years to get a footing. That's where the long term viability of the NRC. To keep it on its feet now we kind of need a minimalist approach to...

    Robbie Deans

I get the feeling Deans was a victim of our games administration. They wanted his success but were not mature enough to embrace the changes required and stay the course. Deans strikes me as the type of bloke who don't give up easy so kept battling on despite it spiraling in decline. His...

We badly need outside help. The actual game of rugby will never change but how it is presented to the broader community will and we won't look back. I don't really care if Pulver solicits that outside help or is given the arse for that outsider but the inner sanctum needs to be disbanded...

    The Pulverisation of Australian Rugby

I have a heap of outdated flares in the boat. Been meaning to donate them to my local soccer club.

Chop tackle reduces the chance of him being able to offload. I agree with Brumbieman in that it is a matter of balance though.

I haven't heard anything that he has signed, only that he received the offer. I don't follow the rugby media though. Oh, hot beer and cucumber sandwiches are hardly a lifestyle choice.

News to me that he is off to France. Latest I knew about was the English offer in 2016.

Yeah I get that. I don't mind the chopping tackle but would rather see a strong counter ruck follow it.

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

Yet the old ethos of rugby still survived, everybody shook hands and had a beer with the boys in the other team. The game was cleaner also.

    Breaking the Post-RWC Cycle

You blokes should be bloody excited about next year. I'm not a huge Force fan but I am. You have had that breakout year and the possibilities from that are encouraging. You blokes also got a great foundation to adapt a few things in your game to keep your competition on their toes.

He is a bit unique Big Kev in that is amaizingly agile for a unit his size. He is also the most rounded in Australia when it come to all aspects of lock play. Against the Argies I thought he looked like he was starting to get his mojo back. I think he can fit the brief you describe above Fatprop.
