RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

RWC: ENG v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A

An Orc win may have built in a bit of complacency for them for our game against them tho? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

I also reckon teams like the Orcs tend to fire up against us too, regardless of recent form. As do we I guess. Neither need too much motivation + now it's a RWC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Totally agree. Didn't really see any transfer of weight in any collision - seemed to stop dead in his tracks when tackled in all his carries.

RWC: Samoa v USA (Brighton) Pool B

Thought that US 12 was handy. Palamo? Did he play against us the other day? Big hitter with good skills. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

RWC: ENG v Fiji (Twickenham) Pool A

Just watched the game. Not sure what to take away from it other than it was probably a good hit-out for both teams. Thought both teams looked OK, I guess. One question I had was – Was England foxing in the scrum? Fiji didn’t seem to have too much trouble in the set piece and even got a few...

Burgess 2 yellows because he's still getting used to the rules, then a red!

    Rugby on TV

Watching the RWC preview on NBC Universal - not looking forward to the commentary so much. US 'analysts' haven't picked up on our 2 teams approach and were saying we'll have to play our best team in every match to get out of the pool. Oh and one guy keeps referring to Muliaina as "Mula-no-no"...

    RWC: Australia v Fiji - 23 September 16:45, Millenium Stadium(24 September 1:45 AEST)

Clive Norling the ref. IIRC games reffed by CN were considered great to watch because he was generally not always able to keep up, so games were very free-flowing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dug out the old Betamax and found Fiji v France RWC 87. Absolute cracker of a game. Fiji ran it from everywhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I remember Barnes' first-ish game (?) in the '07 RWC against Fiji and he was so excited to get out there, he was 'woo-hoo'ing' in the tunnel while everyone else was typically stern-faced. IIRC he had a bit of a blinder too and looked to be having fun. I thought at the time, 'this guy could be...

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Just watched the game again. One thing I can't understand is the fact there is something so very wrong with our kick chase. It's been an issue for years. Whether it's the depth of kick and the bloody chasers! We'll have the odd back trailing through but never is this an effective attacking ploy...

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Yeah IIRC he smoked Habana (probably the most consistent outright speed merchant of late?) at least once at the last RWC? Trying to recall our last genuine pace man - on paper at least, Turner? (running out of descriptors for these rapidity demons) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Speight's recent history has been a confluence of events which has scuppered him - from visas to injury, suspension and now being played out of position. We're all jones-ing to see him unleash but we may not see it at RWC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That Eagles try did show the obvious benefit of having an out and out speedster - someone who if given any space is a sure bet to score. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think that's where the 18 months thing was coming from? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can someone clarify for me - now that Taquele took the field, he can't play for any other nation unless he sits out the 18 months in whatever other nation (e.g Scotland) or what? That doesn't sound right even as I'm typing this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Yeah I agree - as long as we can stick to an approach and not get into a rabble. We have a tendency to play down. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
