French Barbarians v Australia, Thursday 24 November

Dumb question, but with 3 minutes until start, will the livestream on rugby.com.au just appear on the article here? http://rugby.com.au/news/2016/11/23/10/10/live-stream-confirmed

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

As long as he can stay on his feet and get over the line - and not go to ground within nano seconds of being touched like his brother before him.

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

Interesting re Douglas. IIRC, Cheiks played him as much as he could leading up to the RWC because he was short of a run after injury? Don't know his stats from last few games but given he's a fan of his style of play, I would have thought he'd continue to work him into some fighting shape come...

    This is interesting.

Let's all pay one person on GAGR to point their webcam towards the screen and then we all become Skype friends and sit back and watch. Prorate the subscription cost across all members. Simples.;)

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

IIRC I think JOC (James O'Connor) and Godwin were next Horans at one point on some threads. There's 2 for the list!

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

I've heard The next Horan and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) a few times but jeez he really looks/plays like a Mortlock surely?

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

IIRC a kick ahead in Bled game spelled the death knell - at least was symbolic of an overall poor performance

    How to fix the wallabies

Would it be fair to say that this year saw one of the first serious in-bound test series in some time? IIRC historically, the home/Euro nations would tend to send ‘B’ teams (France most recently) who would generally get roundly-whipped with the explanation being “it was the end of a long...

2 recent ones that come to mind are Vaea (drove back) and Savea (drove into touch) last year

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Yeah you're right- I'm conflating things here. I should have kept it to simply backrowers. But all those guys had qualities we greatly need right now: line bending and hard hitting, although I'll admit I can't recall their respective line out prowess - no lifting in those early years? Coker...

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

I'm kind of surprised still that over the years, how few bullocking 8 men we've had. Since say late 80's - Tim Gavin; Scott Gourlay; Willie O; Totai Kefu then pretty much no one since then. Who did we have in 99? Pundits like me often throw out that line "surely a line bending jumping back rower...

Ha brilliant just looked that up.

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

Personally I'd like it to be like the boxing weigh ins with each player promising to bring a world of pain to their opponent. Of course the ABs may have better, um, 'retorts' at this point.......

Bledisloe 2 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, Wellington, 27 August 2016

As a QC (Quade Cooper) fan, I totally hope you're right SoJ, but without wanting to sounds like Quade's mum, and knowing full well: Foley's form; no one else to play; QC (Quade Cooper) is a professional sports person; current state of Aus rugby etc, but I think QC (Quade Cooper) is kind of getting set up to fail. First game back for ages...

    How to fix the wallabies

Someone said it earlier on another thread that it seems as if there is some sort of initial intensity with the change of regime but then that wears off and is then unsustainable. I seem to recall us beating the ABs early in deans tenure and then it all dropped off.
