While this is true, but there is a reasonable chance he has improved as a coach since then I certainly wouldn't have him as the top pick, but he's clearly a good coach that has had success all over the world

Regardless, McKellar beating them without essentially his entire starting lineup is a good result

Weird take considering he just beat top of the table Bath that had Finn Russell playing and has only had 3 games He is without 12 frontline starters including Handre Pollard, Julian Montoya, Jasper Wise

Nothing huh? Rennie wasn’t sacked for any style issue, he was sack for losing rugby games Jake White had a temper tantrum when McKenzie got the Wallabies job and ran away from the Brumbies because of it

RWC Final - New Zealand v South Africa 29/10/23, 0800 NZDT

Yeah, 24 hours after he criticized him, fanning the flames I get fans criticizing refs, as Bullrush mentioned above fans do the same to everyone . But coaches really need to be better than that, their words carry weight with fans Refs don't hold post match press conferences to talk about the...

Gatland is good at simplifying a game plan for a limited team

Which I have always found weird as the South African's were mostly uncompetitive in Super Rugby

It's just an empty excuse for the Italy debacle

Certainly not a disqualifier, but a big red flag when it comes to Blackadder as the coach before him won 5 Titles and the coach after him won 7, with him winning nothing

Most Countries don't to be fair. Wales had to bring back Warren Gatland because they had no local coaches, Scotland's two professional teams are both coached by South Africans, 3 of Ireland's 4 pro teams are coached by Englishmen NZ, South Africa, France & England may have more options, but...

RWC Final - New Zealand v South Africa 29/10/23, 0800 NZDT

All the ref blaming gets tiresome. There will always be marginal calls, they tend to even out throughout a match I think coaches need to take some responsibly regarding their post match comments. Every time a coach loses he has to mention the ref, both Cheika & Foster did and then we wonder why...

This is a separate issue, and is being used by failing coaches as an excuse for their poor job Welsh Rugby is an utter shambles, yet they can still win 6 nations and grand slams. Why can’t our national team come together and and be greater than the sun of our parts?

Doran is reporting McKellar has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave the Tigers job for the Wallabies, and that he wants the job Realistically it's either McKellar or Larkham

    Wallabies 2024
