    Blues v Brumbies - Friday 8 July 2016

It has nothing to do with White's influence. 2013 Brumbies were a much more well-rounded side than the current Brumbies. They lost an away final in NZ by 5 points in the dying minutes of the game after winning an away semi in South Africa against the Bulls. They also beat the British and Irish...

    Blues v Brumbies - Friday 8 July 2016

Brumbies were one of the best counterattacking sides in the comp under White and were more accurate in the opposition 22 than any Aussie side has consistently been since then. They've regressed a lot in both departments with Larkham at the head and would be pretty screwed if they couldn't use...

Jarryd Hayne signs with Fiji Sevens

"Jarryd Hayne will now follow his lifelong dream of playing for the NSW Waratahs"

    Reds 2017

Hopefully that doesn't mean we lose Nabuli. Blues and Highlanders games showed what he can do when the backline is actually functioning for a few phases.

    Reds 2017

Yeah the box kicking from turnover and off phase play anywhere outside then opposition 22 are deliberate tactics without a doubt. Been happening all season long, even before MOC came over - don't see much that's changed about it since then.

Reds vs Chiefs, Fri 8th July, Suncorp Stadium

The Reds are making the Eagles look like world beaters right now.

Reds vs Chiefs, Fri 8th July, Suncorp Stadium

This game made me ashamed to be a Reds fan. If either of the "incumbents" are promoted to head coach I will find it very difficult to support the Reds at all next season. Philadelphia has enough basket case sports teams for me.

    Reds 2017

It's not just tackling - our defensive organization is disgustingly bad. I remember when there used to be a time where I'd look forward to waking up in the wee hours to watch the Reds play..

    Reds 2017

Yeah I think culture gets a little easier to manage when there's a clear, effective game plan in place and we aren't getting pasted by sides we were smashing a few years ago.

Wasn't all that done after Curtis had already signed with Lyon? Hard to miss something you already know about.

While you're at it we will gladly take Tomane as well :)

Just a reminder we haven't actually signed QC (Quade Cooper) yet

    Reds 2016

Well, this thread is going places. Weird places. Digging for positives here after the game but my lord did Frisby put in one hell of a defensive shift for a halfback. How many try saving tackles did he pull off, 5 or 6? There was a stanza on our line where he was the tackler for 3 or so hits in...

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

If Tomane can get back fit and firing, that alone will change the dynamic of the entire backline. Put Tomane on the end of the line receiving those balls into space instead of Fardy and you're going to get tries out of him if he's playing anywhere near where he was before the injury.

Yeah I mean you can't forget that Simmons is the worst lock in the history of Australian rugby

Oh, to be a blossoming Kiwi boy lucky enough to hit his straps on the Falkland Islands.. Ruminant love interests aside, I got a giggle out of this post on Reddit earlier: "I like Skelton btw, but a Khal that can't ride is no khal and a lock that can't jump is no lock."

We could put 200 points on them and the English press would still call it a dead rubber affair. These are the same people that support the allocation of 1B GBP/year to defending an island populated almost solely by sheep.

Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

Nah, I think this is just a bit hyperbolic. Pretty sure near everyone would be happy to see "wrecking ball" Will come out and for "dead fish" Will to be wrapped in a cloth and thrown into the fucking sea never to be seen again. The vitriol around Skelton has always been that we're told to...

To piggyback and be a nitpicking twat.. Nabuli was one of the fastest (if not the fastest) player(s) in the Panthers squad while he was there. Horne would get absolutely fucking smoked if they ran a 60m or 100m race. I made some stupid fucking post when the Reds picked him up about how I...
