Super Rugby Rnd 2: Waratahs v Reds AKA The 2022 Festival of Hate.

Thorn puts him straight back in his Randwick box.

Cheika now doing his one eyed review. Should not be on STAN. Not impartial.

Super Rugby Rnd 2: Waratahs v Reds AKA The 2022 Festival of Hate.

Compelling match. High stake. Good niggle. Looking forward to round 2 at Suncorp. This 2022 NSW side are a different proposition.

    Qld Premier Rugby 2022

What would solve the problem is more merit games so these players can get properly benchmarked against peer. Possible v Probable NZ do this very well.

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Should be some protocol regard the player agent commentating on STAN. Like cash for comment. Guess what/who they highlight?

    Reds 2022

Gordon may or may not be the answer. Perhaps his brother is better? NSW Waratah have excess 10s. Why not go after Harrison, Edmed or Donaldson before they end up overseas?

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

Maybe video. I’m not convinced. But confident not in person because of border and quarantine restriction. This is only first camp but looking at list and assuming that: - many QLD rep are now playing for the other state including Hough, Ripley, Gibson, Gordon and Romano. So those academy...

Don’t think Nathan Grey would have watched any QPR Colts or Schoolboy game.

    Waratahs 2022

No they invest in youth. Average age is 25. Their fullback Jaminet is 22 and 24 by the RWC. The other FB Ramos is 26. Roebuck was 26 when the 1991 Wallaby won Bill and Matt Burke was 26 in 1999.

Good call. No way to benchmark otherwise

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

QLD has dominated these age group since under 15. Very high proportion of Waratah which is curious but perhaps future camp will have different make up. Hope to see some real U20 selection game between the state.

They flog the player in France . I should know.

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Brumbies v Force

Brumbies offside at last kick off. Referee not even looking and AR on 10m line. If that’s in general play or within the 22m, the officials will ping you. Good win to ACT.

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Reds v Rebels

Went to the game. Enjoyed it other than the overpriced catering. Takeaway: 1. Hodge is barely a Super Rugby level player. How the heck is he a wallaby? He’s not going to improve from here. Draw a line in the sand (please) and move onto future talent. 2. As above for O’Connor unfortunately 3. Angus...

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Waratahs v Drua

Before the game Darren Coleman said he wanted to limit Drua’s attacking opportunities and the NSW defence has definitely done that.

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Waratahs v Drua

Holloway very good. Cridge solid. But Swinton is a Wallaby so he should be much better. Did you see that try?
  17. Confucius Say

Super Rugby Rnd 1: Waratahs v Drua

Yeah I disagree. I’m sure at the end of the game they’re going to talk up Swinton that he’s been good but I have watched him closely tonight and his tackling technique is unconvincing. He hits but doesn’t stick. Or he misses. Need to work on this because all the huff and puff on its own is not...

Their women team is a credit to the club and the competition, so great to hear work underway to get their other grade competitive. But we don’t want them too good!

    Reds 2022

Interesting as they started as the Bank of New South Wales. When the bank started trading as Westpac, they adopted the logo.
