    Southern Inland Rugby 2014

The above posts are the reason to keep things positive on this forum. We want to have as many people from within the SIRU rugby community providing insight into clubs and their thoughts and ideas on the competition but it's important that we remain positive and open to ensure that we can all...

Keep it positive guys. If you want to bicker, I'm sure you can use the CSU intranet for that.

That's great news for the Yabbies. I think the point above is valid for all clubs, I think it allows for a settled start to the season and the clubs that can have all these roles nailed down early in the off-season generally get off to a good start. A wise old coach once told me that in...

    John I Dent Cup 2014

Would the ACT based teams be keen on travelling? Albury to Canberra is 3.5hrs, Griffith to Canberra is 4hrs, Wagga to Canberra is 2.5hrs. That's a bit different than the drive from Gungahlin to Tuggeranong. The above figures only include weekend game travel, let alone training time for 2-3...

Count SIRU out of the JID. It's been done before (early 2000's from memory) where SIRU slotted into the JID Pre-Season Competition and the drain on resources to this area was simply too much. While Albury swept all before them this year and deserve all the accolades that have flowed their way...

My mistake @Jack01, I thought you were new to the area. It's good to get your insights. Any word on a coach at Ag College?

For a boy from Mona Vale who is new to the area Jack01, you sure know a lot of the names around SIRU!

How good is it getting mail from different clubs on here! The more the merrier! Although we do need more Brumbies supporters on here!

That's a shame for Coota if that's true about Andrew Glover, he was a very handy player. Luke Eldridge has been a central part of the Yabbies for a long time now, I wouldn't be surprised if he takes a back seat for a while, he's certainly earned a rest.

That would be a win for the College boys. One mentioned above, played hooker/front row from memory. You've mentioned two of them (allegedly).

Aren't there players from Royals and Vikings who have headed over to play in the ITM Cup this season already?

Wow, Red to Green or Green to Red? RF - It's been a long time between drinks for you mate! Sounds like we've got similar mail on this one. This is good to hear and I think more local clubs should be looking into their options overseas. Wagga City have had some good success in recent times...

No worries. I heard he has taken on a consultancy role, but haven't had that confirmed by anyone at Uni/Norths. Spill the beans son!

Hey Jack01, let's keep it positive mate. Mick Small has been involved with Wagga City for well over a decade and volunteers like that are essential to our game. Aggies will no doubt be rebuilding next year (and were probably in that stage this year also) but you never know who will show up out...

Anyone got mail on the Ins and Outs for 2014? The Yabbies look like they are putting their best foot forward signing a Scottish guy to partner with Aaron Seaman in the forwards. http://www.dailyadvertiser.com.au/story/1909910/yabbies-land-a-scot-in-bid-for-boost/?cs=149

I understand where you are coming from, but my mail says that Eddie has got a room at the lodge in the 'berra already and has been training the house down. Not as yet, maybe some of our visitors have something they would like to add. Will the Yabbies leave SIRU? Will BARC come back to the...

SIRU Women's 7's Squad has been announced, congratulations to all the successful squad members. My sources tell me the trial was pretty rough, with squad member breaking her collarbone. I heard the player in question did not even shed a tear, geez we breed 'em tough in Wagga, it must be...
