    Wallaby Locks

I don't think Cheika is going to gamble on a lock that has played 0 games of Super Rugby. Not for the RWC anyway

Anesi doesn't value the black jersey enough. He has a few years left in him to add more ABs caps to his name. Money-whore.

    Waratahs 2015

Fucking Mike Brown and Delon Armitage above Leigh Halfpenny: a proven match-winner for Wales and the B&I Lions. That'll do me. I'm out.

And so it begins. Trial match. Force v Brumbies

Neither has Moore, or Horwill at times. All the names thrown out for the captaincy: Moore, Horwill, Pocock, Hooper, Slipper - they are the 'lead by example' types, but are lacking when it comes to ref coaxing. But what the aforementioned three have over other prospective leaders is their...

Can Cheika ball work for the Wallabies?

The article is ambiguous regarding Larkham's arrangment: is Larkham retaining his head coaching role at the Brumbies (until 2017) while undertaking duties as Wallabies attack coach for the world cup and beyond? Or is he taking up the role full time with the Wallabies?

Carried hard did Vaea. Hell, even JP Smith was throwing himself into contact.

And so it begins. Trial match. Force v Brumbies

Ah. Thought at the time the Alcock try was held up or something over the line, and brought back for a penalty advantage.

And so it begins. Trial match. Force v Brumbies

2nd Half From the beginning of the second half, the Brumbies showed more urgency after a stern word from Larkham. Brumbies' big ball carriers started to get into the game as they advanced into the Force half; Ita Vaea (or Tongan Thor as the guy next to me remarked) in particular was...

And so it begins. Trial match. Force v Brumbies

Just got back from the game. Nice turnout for the first trial. Admittedly missed the first 25 or so minutes, but the Force looked more assured - their defence withstanding the Brumbies' attacking efforts. Came into time to just see Chris Alcock run 20-odd metres to score in the left corner off...

    Reds 2015

He's 4th in line to start at Wallabies scrumhalf isn't he? He's behind Phipps, Ginea, and Genea

And so it begins. Trial match. Force v Brumbies

I can't really make a guarantee Reg, but I might be able to catch the game. I can be on standby for another writer but bear in mind my first effort at a match preview will be awfully average (if I can get down there).

    Brumbies 2015

If Prior is leaving, the Force have to be a good shout at winning the Super Rugby. Prior is renowned for his swan songs.

    Rebels 2015

I'm more concerned about the Rebels forward pack getting it together. A lot of depth and competition in the front row and in the backrow. If the likes of Jeffries, Cummins - and hell, even Samo get it together, and push the incumbents, under the tutelage of TT and Louden the Rebels should push...

    Scrum Talk

At least Mario Ledesma fulfills the criteria of grizzled, former front-rower from the NH with cauliflower. His Top14 coaching experience is a plus too. What I find enlightening though is a very colourful description of him on his wiki. You don't often see many personal views or opinions on...

Are you stuck in 2010? Your perception of Crockett is equally as outdated as your perception of Ma'afu. But then you generally dislike the Saints.

I'll have a crack at the Force season preview

I thought it was agreed that 'Ma'afood' was the worst Australian prop in recent memory. I'm bewildered by the change in perception. Frankly, Mourad Boudjellal has more money than sense to bring him in as a replacement to Carl Hayman. Trust in Ben Alexander to come good!

    Reds 2015

If Faagase can scrummage on his own against the Spirit pack, we best elevate him to the Wallabies pronto

    Northern Hemisphere Rugby Season 14/15

I think I read Corbisiero made his return in this game. How'd he go Lee, if he featured at all?

    Western Force 2015

Stander over Alcock if their form is about equal. Carries harder, or as hard as Alcock can for his size, and was destructive at the breakdowns this year. But he will probably start at 6, and Cottrell at 8 when the season starts anyway, with Wallabies like McCalman rested and all.
