Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

I never thought I would say this - Cooper to start at 10 next week.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

Pollock is very strict on supporting your own weight at the breakdown. Lions will have to adapt.

    New Zealand vs France

All Blacks run away with it after stepping it up after dominating the 2nd half. 24-9

    New Zealand vs France

Frogs up for this one. Ahead 3-0 and looking like the better side.

    South Africa v Samoa

SA to win comfortably. They get up for the bigger games (usually), but often look poor against weaker sides for some reason.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

I'm remarkably relaxed myself. Can't figure out why.

Australia vs British and Irish Lions - 1st Test (Brisbane)

To his credit, Deans has given it a go picking JOC (James O'Connor) and Lilo. However, I think it should remembered neither have ever played together, and neither have played a test match of this intensity in their respective positions, ever. To start them in this state in a Lions test is a risk. Saying that...

    New Zealand vs France

The only injury is Dane Coles with a pulled hamstring.

    New Zealand vs France

Hansen and co have already indicated they want to see him at 13. You could be right, but I was just going with they have suggested. We have no good 13 after Conrad Smith. Rene Ranger is off to France, Kahui is crocked, Ellison is off to Japan.

    New Zealand vs France

For the final test, I am hoping to see Luatua or Vito get the start at 6, Ben Smith at 13 (to develop depth), which would mean Rene Ranger to 14 with Savea on the other.

Brumbies v British & Irish Lions Tuesday 18 June 2013

Well done Brumbies. You deserved better than a midweek fixture. Fuckin boring game tough.

    Bob Dwyer: Lions are Cheats

Indeed. Though rather pathetic at the same time.

    Amazing play by the ABs.

    New Zealand vs France

ABs dominating territory but still only 10-0 at halftime. Sam Whitelock and Read pressuring the French lineout. Picamoles is a beast for the Frogs. Aaron Smith's and Dagg's kicking game are excellent.

    New Zealand vs France

    Sam Whitelock to start.

    Blue v France Tuesday

Blues team named, no Luatua, Weepu, Piutau, Braid, Ranger, Sailli, ....or Williams (though that could be a positive) I think the Frogs will destroy them up front. We'll see. Blues: 15. Marty McKenzie, 14. Frank Halai, 13. Malakai Fekitoa , 12. Jackson Willison (v/c), 11. George Moala, 10...

    Blue v France Tuesday

Right...this can't go on...it's "definitely", not "defiantly". :) The Blues side will be well below full strength.

Battle of the Blood Red: Lions v Queensland Reds 8th June 2013

So, did Quade do enough to convince Reds supporters that he unfit for test rugby yet? Or do we need more erratic decision making under pressure? imo- your best option long term is Christian Lealiifano, Robbie has picked the wrong horse with O'Connor.
