RD - you speak with authority. When was the change to year groups agreed to by the Headmasters.

Interested in the pics from the Churchie Vs GT game. The lineout jumper is clearly lifted on the legs where the tape is. I'm not being critical of the school, because I have seen many other photos involving a range of schools with the same vision. Why do the coaches obviously coach it and why...

Noel May have scored 21 but it would have been u16 as he started in year 10 but was a year older.

"I think you'll find that Richman is actually one of those kids who has had to go up due to the age change." Richman is born 1998 so is U16 this year so not forced up. Has some genuine ability but susceptible to injury. Has played most of his rugby at 10. Sorry to see him injured. It will...

Actually TK I notice NC hasn't won any 16C game except against the mighty BGS16C team. Churchie haven't been beaten so you are right this weekend's supplementary against them will be a big test. You get to play them again soon in the real game as well. Good luck. I note you are also to play BBC...

I agree that schoolboys representing at Sanix should be the best possible. As I understand it the tournament is in April 2015 and the cost to the school/boys is about $60K for a 30 person team. Add to this the physical toll on the players in the lead up to GPS season. While it may have had...

It's great to have some wins. The great State High as always competitive in As abd Bs. But the question was 'Why nothing below a B team'. The GPS results show State High hasn't had a C game in U13-16 all season. Only five years ago they managed that and more. What's changed? Same applies to IGS...

I agree. Both boys would have been excellent inclusions for BBC. The College has a new prop who played U16s for Qld last year. Wilkins would have been very damaging if used at 15 like Folau and they have Foulds to the centres along with Nanai. Dark horses might be Len Ikitau, Fraser Cotton and...

I suspect Sam Edwards would have first go for one wing spot.

Too much self publicity from Nate. Yes injured early then played Bs until rep AFL became his priority. Ben Simpson (U15 Bris Blue BJRU and U15 Bris Rep Vs Country 2013) was a standout as was Fraser Cotton and Kris Verevis. IMO Nate has the build but will start behind the other three. Kris...

Not sure what boys you are trying to talk up. Do you think there is no space for: - Sam Edwards (1st XV 2013, Qld Red U16 2013) - Jerumi Nanai (1st XV 2013) The biggest problem for this team is the workrate. One or two from last year would make a great tackle and then bask in the glory for...

Jonah Placid was a Toowoomba Grammar product who was fullback in the Australian Schoolboys team that beat NZ last year. Saw him play last year. He is something special. Hence winning his place on the Australian U20 team this year. His Toowoomba coach from last year is now coaching at Churchie.

I think it has little to do with age. Yes BSHS have a young team but as we are constantly reminded BBC has now 14 of the players who have played this year in Grade 11 or 10. With David Eagle and Graham Noon's departure they lost coaches who had immense rugby knowledge and people skills. They...

Maths Sam. ACGS cannot finish second no matter what happens. If they win they will end up on 11 points, the same as TSS. If TSS wins, they will finish second on 13 and BBC fourth on 10. If BBC wins they will finish second on 12 points and TSS and ACGS equal third on 11.
