How does the travel work, do they bus the one team up there and back or do they fly ? Does TAS host or Billet out the boys or do they stay in Hotels ? Does it work in Reverse when TAS come to sydney ?

I think the mary turning story is about a dubious conversion that may have missed but was ruled a goal. Yeah those late 80's early 90s battles between scots and joeys were legendary. Found this clip the other day of the Scots vs Joeys Centenary Game in 1993.

what about the 95 metre intercept in 1987 at HH for scots to win both game and championship ? The other legendry story out of this fixture is the one about mary turning around as joeys kicked a goal to win it for them in the early 80's.

can anyone recall the 94 finale at HH when the (slang used by low IQ schoolboys)s went off just as scots were getting on top - killed their momentum and joeys were able to hang on to win the game and premiership.

As a Scots old boy i cringe when i see us gloating about winning 4 in a row, still undefeated etc...we've been in these situations plenty of times over the years and not since 93 have we come out on top. Premierships aren't won in round 5.

Unfortunately under the current competition structure of Premier 1,2,3 Colts - 1st Div A+B and C Grade I don't believe there is the depth to safely accommodate another Premier Club in the region. However i could see it being a possibility if they joined forces with one of the Cooks Hill -...

Im not so sure expanding the comp to 11 is the better option AS. The NHRU have the balance of premier clubs and number of grades about right. I fear that introducing an 11th club into the mix will really dilute the quality of the comp. In 2007 and 2008 there were 11 teams and the competition...

Ok so a few big names going to the two blues....what about the comings and goings at the other clubs ? Any word on the structure of the competition - do you think Easts will be back or will there be a merger or will someone drop down a division to make way ? Interesting times ahead.

AngrySeahorse - Interested in your thoughts on the new coaches Newcastle Uni have appointed and what the reaction has been like. Both guys have been simmering away in the lower grades at Wanderers and now get their chance to take on a 1st grade role. I hope they do well and are supported by the...
