    SRAU RD 8 - Reds v Brumbies

Brumbies should go into this game as favourites. The Reds have had a disruptive couple of weeks and only getting to sleep in their beds on Sunday? Brumbies have had ideal preparation.

Super Rugby Rnd 7: Rebels v Reds

One of the seagulls could have shat on that ball, therefore, ball was out.

Bit of a bullshit penalty on Feo considering how lazy some of the Rebels tacklers have been.

Unreal to see heads up rugby. I can't remember the last time I've seen an Australian 10 switch up the attack like that since Larkham!

Super Rugby Rnd 7: Rebels v Reds

I think its more to combat the territory game the Rebels will be trying to play. We've now got three recognised kickers in the backs and won't mean JOC (James O'Connor) has to drop back all the time to help cover. I'm surprised Feo is playing at Loosehead - both Zander and Hoopert are out?

I can't imagine Thorn will be willing to sign a bloke who has two serious drunk driving charges. The bloke needs to go to Rehab before setting foot back on a Rugby field. He clearly has issues with alcohol.

If you Victorians can't play nice, we'll tell our Polish Princess to shut up shop to you over going to Noosa in your winter search for sun. You'll be forced into Byron for your winter escape, do you want to share that with the Anti-Vax centre of Australia??????

Super Rugby Rnd 7: Rebels v Reds

Call me optimistic, but a camp style week could be a great thing for this Reds team. They've struggled in recent weeks to play better rugby than the 'lesser' team has allowed them. Add in a weeks worth of tackling drills on the sand and I hope the Reds will be ready to go!

Tell you what, being based in Coogee for the week isn't too bad. Going for a swim post training will do wonders for recovery ;)

Swain and Timani over Blyth is criminal. Jock must be scratching his head at what more he needs to do as Banks seems to skirt on by doing the bare minimum.

I'd have Blyth over Uru and more importantly Rodda.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/rugbyunion/international/australia/3405317/England-still-dominate-Australian-scrum-thanks-to-Al-Baxter-factor-Rugby-Union.html It always pays to remember where you've come from so that you don't repeat history, and there's a reason why scrums are called dark...

    Glorious days for Slyvan Road!

Ah yes. Somehow all 8 blokes were able to take a step to their left even with a few tons of force being applied. Robertson was boring so far there was daylight between him and his hooker.

I dunno, I think the disorganisatiom point is fair. But there's a reason why JOC (James O'Connor) drops back in defence and that's because he and Jock are the only two who can kick when the Fijian wingers are both starting. With 50-22 being in place it's critical to have two kickers at the back.

Odd that he completely glosses over Holmes dropping his bind to touch the ground on that example with Zander and how Orr is at a 90 Degree angle on Topou.

First impressions always matter and you could be right that Valetini's work rate has improved, but for the past couple of years he's had question marks over his involvement in a game which will take time to shake.

Unless To'omua finds whoever strapped Tom Carter up, I'd be nervous To'omua will actually be fit enough to play more than a handful of games with JOC (James O'Connor) in 2023.

I've been surprised that Ruan hasn't been on the bench. Perhaps they're worried about Ruans fitness levels not being high enough to play 60+ minutes if Tupou came off injured. Hopefully we'll see Ruan help elevate some of the pressure on Nela over the coming weeks.
