    Where to for Super Rugby?

Best thing to happen will be the government pulling out the whole country. This whole thing is so past its sell by date it isn't even funny.

Round 5 - Jaguares v Reds, Jose Amalfitani Stadium, Sunday 26 March @ 7:40am AEST

Stephen Moore at first receiver is really not a good idea.

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

That is indeed what a small fringe call those who have chosen to move overseas. Honestly have not come across of much of it for a long time. Harmless. Article 10 indeed.

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Delusion is dangerous. You need to get that checked.

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Now Paarl. You need to grow some thinking flaps. Why would one swap one shit, fucked up, self serving, incompetent, delusional, naval gazing, self-obsessed, inward focused, politically motivated, poorly administered, low crowd-numbered, badly marketed and out of touch with reality system for...

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Ackerman gone by all accounts. That's a disaster for The Lions and South African rugby. He is the ONLY world-class coach currently coaching in South Africa. Most are unproven (du Preez) or pretenders (Fleck, Marais). All just adds to the rapid decline of SA rugby.

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Agreed. It will never be perfect. Have to start somewhere though. Things will be missed and sometimes players will get off but on the whole it will cause players to be mindful, coaches spending more time on technique to avoid the players getting carded and on balance it will be a positive outcome.

Round 4: Lions v Reds, Sun 19 March @ 1:15am AEST Ellis Park, Johannesberg

Last year that would have been a yellow card at most. This year the rules are clear. Even in the 6N there have been some cards that looked marginal and would have been penalties last year at most. All in all a good directive and the players will adjust. It is designed to protect players which...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Sounds like you know something. Care to elaborate?

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Right go convince the broadcasters. Then help the broadcasters come up with a deal that all the Unions will accept. We'll all wait patiently. If the numbers could work this would have happened already. NZ says they want to play SA teams regularly but if they are given the same money...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

And keep pissing up a tree in VIC. Great. For what, a couple of thousand fans? That is literally what it is. Let's not kid ourselves. The Rugby horse didn't bolt out of Melbounre, it never really visited (sorry Rebel fans but you are like the last outpost in a city of giants.) Chasing an...

When last did the ARU listen to the mob? They listen to the broadcasters. That's it.

Right. Broadcasters will just love that.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The Brumbies cannot be axed. History must carry a lot of weight, and the Brumbies have a lot of that. I don't think anyone on their right mind will axe the Ponies over the Rebels surely?

No worries was not looking for an apology but thanks anyhow :)

    Where to for Super Rugby?

PS I also love how people just willy nilly suggest that The Lions and Bulls or Lions and Cheetahs should merge. 4 teams there we go. Right then let's merge the Reds and the Tahs if mergers are they way to go. While we're at it let's lump the Brumbies and the Rebels together and there we go. 3...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Free ride from who? The Aus media? Most Australian rugby journalists can't even name the 5 SA teams let alone pinpoint where they are located on a map. So having an opinion is generally limited to a throwaway line here and there. The discussion has mainly centred around the Rebels this year and...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Australian audiiences tend to be pretty fickle if their team is losing. Especially in Rugby. Just look back to the Tahs good couple of years and the Reds good run under Link. Stadiums were full and there was a buzz about the game. The media was positive. It becomes super fast vicious circle...
