Round 9 Bulls V Reds - Loftus Versfeld, Pretoria

The Bulls game plan wasn't what I expected but I haven't watched any of their previous games this year (and I assume that Thorn has). Really strong running by the Bulls, stretching the defence and using the ball and multiple players at all times running with the ball. Some of their passing...

    The Israel Folau saga

He's not a Mormon these days - believe he moved on from that (family upbringing) to happy clapper evangelical Assemblies of God type. I know a few Mormons and they are keep their views to themselves except when they are doing missionary work.

Brumbies vs Crusaders 6th April - Christchurch Stadium

Where is Coleman playing these days?

    Reds 2019

Has Teti Tela been capped for the Reds yet? Had a feeling he didn't get off the bench previously. Looks like he will be the tour backup to Hegarty. I see that Hardy is named in the touring squad so not required for the U20s, and CFS is back from injury.

    Reds 2019

Is McGahan playing yet? Didn't he arrive with a broken leg or something? I thought that might take a bit of time to recover from. What club is he with?

    Rebels 2019

I think every team needs a player like that - someone who consistently delivers for the team while often being overlooked for their abilities but holds the team together. I like English at the Rebels and good on him for staying.

    Reds 2019

What was the coaching experience like as well before these coaches were appointed to Super Rugby HC roles? Scott Robertson - assistant coach of Canterbury ITM Cup side for five years then appointed Canterbury's head coach in 2013, 2014 - 2016, head coach of the New Zealand Under-20 Rugby team, 2016...

    Reds 2019

Last year there were a lot of rumours about players wanting to get out and then nothing seemed to come of it - players re-signed and it was held up as evidence that Brad Thorn was doing things right. So has something changed and there is some substance to these stories or are they just managers...

    Round 7: Reds v Rebels - Saturday 30 March @ Suncorp

I felt last week that the Brumbies really melted in the heat and ran out of steam quickly - they were just so poor when a lot of those Canberra players we know are better than that so the heat had to have some influence. Either that or the Brumbies players have just lost their ability. It made...

Maybe they need a construction company as a sponsor!

    Round 6: Waratahs v Crusaders - Saturday 23 March @ SCG

Well done Tahs, they hung in there really well. At one stage I thought that the Crusaders were going to break away from them but it didn't happen. Good defence. Having that week off I think went against the Crusaders - Tahs looked more ready for it throughout.

    Round 6: Waratahs v Crusaders - Saturday 23 March @ SCG

Yes but you have Phil Kearns to balance it out by noticing everything possibly negative that the opposition do and never seeing anything bad that the Waratahs do. They really should get some commentators who are unbiased - Greg Clark calling his son's games is bad too - do they not have anyone...

    Reds v Brumbies

We always take lots of snacks for the kids. The security guys are fine, just open your bag and tell them that it's food for the kids. Hope the kids have fun there. Afternoon games are great for kids.

    Reds v Brumbies

Homemade food is fine, al of it we did that every time when we were members. Commercial food- we just repackaged it - put the chips into a plastic bag etc. Water bottles are not an issue - take them in filled and refill them in the sink.

Apparently DP de Lange he is a Sth African who was living in Adelaide and the GPS coach found him down there.

    Round 4: Rebels v Brumbies - Fri 8th @7:45pm

Given that the Brumbies lineup is pretty stable with a lot of experienced players who have played for the team for quite a while, surely they have some understanding of defence themselves?

Hadn't seen this mentioned before so apologies if it is old news but appears that the Force have recruited Steve Meehan (was with Reds for a bit when Graham was around) as a defence coach...

Round 4 - Festival of Hate - Qld v NSW

I'm confused too - in that video he wraps an arm and drives through. Effective I thought, and really would have expected a loose forward to be able to withstand that a bit better.
