BBoomer Wamberal all up in here. I can't see any sports package being included by default in the $7 a month plan though. Boy oh boy do I love it though.

Super Rugby AU - Semi Final - Reds v Reb

Reds deserved that one. Same Rebels problems as the last 4 or so weeks, and the To'omua injury turned a 90% result into a guaranteed one. Few things to think about moving forward. Big one for me is Billy: don't have a clue what's happened with him this year, but he's clearly giving 100%, and yet...

    Wallabies 2020

Skelton is the pick IMO. Assuming he'd be happy to do so.

    Wallabies 2020

Godwin is what? 27 now? I like him as a player and think he probably deserves an opportunity at a higher level, but unless something just "clicks" for him I'd imagine there's not a substantial amount of raw development left.

I thought Max had some sort of Back Condition that made him uninsurable here but not in the UK. Or did I have a weird recollection of events.

Sounds like asking the clubs how they wanted to be assigned was worse than forcing them all into a 4-4-4 arrangement from the start

Super Rugby AU Round 6 Rebels v Brumbies, 7.05pm Leichhardt Oval, Friday 7th August

This might sound, obnoxious? But between the potential injuries to Leota and Uelese, alongside not grabbing the bonus point has left me rather deflated after the game. Because I know I should be really very happy, we played very well and clearly beat the ladder leaders. Brain do dumb things

https://www.therugbypaper.co.uk/latest-news/29016/meehan-glad-to-be-clear-of-shocking-aussie-mess/ From the man himself back in 2017. Always appreciated the "no bullshit" personality he seemed to have, both in words and actions. Still only 27 too Jeez.

Unless some sort of regional hub thing funded by World Rugby happens, I would imagine that Sevens would be a write off for 2020. I wouldn't begrudge any of them looking for some extra cash/pro training, but you'd hope that all parties would be taking it reasonably seriously.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Are we expecting... intelligence? Competence? Forethought? from anyone involved in the game in australia?

For most players, depends on exactly what this means I think, I don't speak Lawyer good enough to figure it out.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

While you could probably get away with slightly fewer in a purely domestic comp, I think anything less than 9, and preferably 10 or 11 home games, isn't enough. You need ongoing and consistent opportunities for fans to build connections: to players, to the home grounds and ultimately, to the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Isn't it Bay of Plenty who're in the partnership with China? Hence why Shug Blake, the Kilted Kiwi, is their captain?

Distinguished has always been a curious word for me. In and of itself there's nothing wrong with it, but it consistently seems to be used when describing that someone with impressive achievements and manner of presentation should have some default high level of respect in an area, at best...
