The season proper hasn't started yet,but I hear one SS club has already been "cited".

For a few years Parramatta fielded 2 teams but last year did field 3 teams. Penrith usually start the season with 2 teams,but end with 1 . Warringah on occasions have forfeited 3rd grade colts in the recent past. Last year Gordon fielded only one team. All clubs are supposed to field 3 colts...

Who won the final?

A large percentage of players in first grade Shute Shield this year will have come from another club.

As already mentioned previously ,Parra,Penrith,Eastwood ,Wests & Southern Districts have applied to play together as a JV. Also, James O'Connor has played for West Harbour,as stated by Macca above, & I understand is still contracted to them.

Is the 3T about promoting individual clubs or finding new players throughout Australia who will benefit Rugby as a whole in this country. Some comments in this forum indicate to me that some people's motives are principally focused on gaining an advantage for their own club .

Isn't it all about giving the "next" group of players the opportunity to show their wares at a higher level,& in the process ,in effect ,about being discovered & possibly be given the opportunity & impetus to move up to Super 15 level or beyond,& consequently giving Australia a greater pool of...
