    Shute Shield 2022

Pretty dire display at Millner (or Marsfield, as the STAN man prefers). Woodies just dragged themselves home against the Beasts.

FORCE v Rebels - Friday 8 April, HBF Park

Is Horan capable of saying anything that needs a bit of thought?

    Wallabies 2023

He is the best of a humdrum lot. The thing is, he seems to have a much higher potential than his competitors.

    Wallabies 2023

Words matter. "Exceptional" means "to a very unusual degree". Being a standout could mean the best of a mediocre bunch.

    Wallabies 2023

Au contraire, mon ami. "Exceptional" performance is not something that can be turned on and off, surely? It is as good as it gets. I am happy to wait and see just how good they are. The only way to know is to put them up against the best.

    Wallabies 2023

Let's wait until they play the Keewees before we start talking about "exceptional" please.

    Wallabies 2023

One thing for sure, we simply have to nail our kicks. Who is the best kicker in our elite ranks? I don't think there is much between Quade and JOC (James O'Connor)??? Who'd be a selector?

    Reds 2023

He's 19, eh? He'll be a big boy when he grows up!

    Wallabies 2023

Samu was so flexible against the Reds that he disappeared from sight. Koro, Kellaway, and either Banks (I hope not) or Petaia (very early days for him) will be really vulnerable against the high ball.

    Round 7 Reds v Brumbies, Suncorp Stadium 2/4 @ 6:45pm AEST

Hodge has been a wonderful servant of the game here, but with all due respect to him, his day has come and gone.

    Round 7 Reds v Brumbies, Suncorp Stadium 2/4 @ 6:45pm AEST

I suppose it is better to err on the side of the team in possession? BTW I thought a penalty would have been enough for Clarke's offense.

    Round 7 Reds v Brumbies, Suncorp Stadium 2/4 @ 6:45pm AEST

What about a situation where your team has a three to one overlap 10 metres from the line, and the sole defender manages to slap the final pass down. Are you happy to lose a match winning try like this?

    Round 7 Reds v Brumbies, Suncorp Stadium 2/4 @ 6:45pm AEST

The Reds wanted to win; the Reds believed that they could win.

    Shute Shield 2022

    The Wicks were too good.

Round 7 - Drua v Waratahs - CBUS Stadium Gold Coast

We haven't seen the best of him yet. His kicking from the spot was pretty good, apart from anything else.

Round 7 - Drua v Waratahs - CBUS Stadium Gold Coast

Fatty's an Eastwood boy at heart, although he tries to hide it!

    Shute Shield 2022

Just got the Eastwood email. It had lists for all the grades, except First grade. Firsts will play at Millner, all the other grades will play at Randwick.

    Wallabies 2023

I do not personally think much of Foketi. But if the Wallaby coaching staff do, that's their call. At the end of the day that get paid to do their jobs to the best of their ability. I really doubt that they are biased for or against the players of a particular franchise.

    Waratahs 2022

The kid's still growing, physically, and still learning the different skills needed in our game. He certainly looked a different player, a step above where he was.
