    Rugby Quotes of the Week

Not sure if this fits the thread but it is the best place I could see to stick the link. Classic stuff and good for a laugh. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/video.cfm?c_id=1503077&gal_cid=1503077&gallery_id=154770

Rugby and the dismal failure of The Meat Machine

Blew my left knee out in trial match in my senior year - worst pain ever! Never had it operated on and to this day it causes me grief. Busted and popped most of my fingers, a few of which still point in funny directions. Broke both collarbones, left one twice. Popped some rib cartilage in my...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

There is much to be said about the value of "combinations" in a backline. I am bloody nervous about the backs as they as this line-up is yet to fire on all cylinders. Cheika has done a lot with this team in a relatively short while so I will remain a believer and trust in the coaches selections...

Geesh BH, the frontpage drama sure has spoilt your day! Easy big fella, we are all a bit tense but you seem to be doing it tougher than most.

If anyone has forgotten what they had for breakfast, I have the solution for you. Close your eyes and image is Sunday morning at 6.05am and you are all cozy under you blankie on the couch, only to witness a nasty headclash between Pocock & Hooper and both are out cold. You can replace Hooper...

Yes and no FP. As much as want to see us win, I am not ready for us to be on a plane home in 9 days. We have waited 4 years for this and if there is still a hope then I'll take that. Let's not forget that France dropped a pool match last RWC and went within 1 point of winning the whole darn thing.

I am not sure if this is considered "banging on" about the bonus point KB (Kurtley Beale), but my apologies if it is, but am I correct in assuming that if we lose this weekend an do not collect a bonus point against England, that we will have to beat Wales AND earn a bonus point or deny them a bonus point just...

I am big fan of Matt Giteau and have never questioned his selection since being bought back into the fold. That said, I think it is high time he stood up and had a big game. I would dearly love for him to make obvious to the world this weekend exactly why he has been picked. The same could be...

I sincerely hope we don't come out and play conservatively but I can't recall a test match in recent history with so much banter focused on out-scrummaging the opposition and kicking goals. I don't know......it just doesn't feel right.

Stay strong Pfitzy, but I must confess to finding myself in the same boat as you. If we try and play safe, which I think we will, I have a bad feeling that we are going to get smacked. I have tried to imagine a loss to prepare myself emotionally and I don't like it one bit.

That may be the case and it will be interesting to see what side he rolls out. Does anyone know when the side will be named?

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

I have a feeling Cheika is going to change things up with the backline this week. I may a complete moron but I wouldn't be surprised if we see QC (Quade Cooper) starting, possibly with To'omua at 12 though i think it will be Gits, and Mitchell starting on the wing. TGC “It is probably an area in the past...

RWC: AUS v ENG (Twickenham): POOL A; 6am (AEDT) Sunday 4 October

I could probably work this out myself but I am too lazy right now, so on the off chance that anyone has already worked it out, can anyone plot the remainder of the tournament based on an Australia win and also an Australia loss on Saturday. It seems like the other pools are playing out as...
