    Wallabies 2023

If he is fit, he will be in the squad again this year. I doubt he will be a starter, but he will be thereabouts

It was great to see what happens when you have a big unit can use footwork at contact, Will Harris will probably rarely be able to find two week shoulders on one run again for a while, but he made that look easy

He is far better, but there are plenty of areas he still has to improve

    Wallabies 2023

His workrate is the key to him, and quite possibly his ability to be prepared to play a role within a side. There will always be someone who can run harder, tackle harder etc etc, but for most teams you also need players that compliment those more dynamic units - who make their tackles, hit...

    Wallabies 2023

Simmons point of difference was his lineout work, at test level it was excellent, his challenges against the the big quality teams just reinforces my points, we have better test lineout options who are bigger and will be more effective against the other test locks I am exceptionally happy to...

But isn't playing 6, and we have better backrowers

    Wallabies 2023

Holloway playing in the backrow historically disappears - his involvements were never enough, when he was moved to lock he started playing tighter and getting more/better involvements I can't see him in the backrow at test level, we have better, higher workrate options Now as a test lock, he...

So what is the criteria? We now have a load of "union juniors" that are only there because of NRL deals funding their private school educations

Cooper is a walk in to, JOC (James O'Connor) will be his starting back up, but I would have Noah as the bench unit We need to have a young 10 getting game time and Noah is the best young 10 we have , we have others in the pipeline but they are further back

Waratahs v Hurricanes Sat 14th May 7.45pm Sydney

The Ryan hate is quite amusing, what other options were there\are there as a injury cover? and he didn't lose us that game, but he didn't do much to get us in a position to win it We lost because we couldn't keep up the intensity for the 80, that will come with time

    Wallabies 2023

Koro should be the first of the back 3 picked, so the other winger will need to be a 14/15 type So Koro Kellaway/Wright Banks/Petaia Koro and Kellaway deserve to be first choice, 15 is still pretty open IMHO, neither is great, but they are the best we have

Blues vs Reds, Sat 14 May, 2022. Eden Park.

ahh ............... the Blues are really good with threats across the park, they were bigger, faster and more effective. Changing the coach will do nothing to make your side bigger, faster and more skillful

Filling a 10,000 seater will look and feel far better than 10,000 being spread out through a 40,000 seater but the 40,000 seater will have the corporate stuff and that makes more $$$ The most important thing to me is having that home ground, the last years were horrendous

    Wallabies 2023

From a marketing/development point of view I thought it would be of better value for money for a cash strapped sporting group to focus on "disaffected rugby fans who have stopped going to games" rather than targeting the "untapped opportunities of our multicultural country" who most likely...

Hanigan is a quality unit, with a high workrate and great lineout skills, he will at least be on the bench
