The NZ/SA Rivalry, how fierce is it?

The mass Pacific Island immigration to NZ has really helped NZ rugby, even though, these days most island players are born and bred in NZ. Current Maori ABs - Aaron Smith, Israel Dagg, Liam Messam, Dane Coles, Cruden?, Kerr-Barlow, Perenara. Islander heritage - Savea, Faumuina, Luatua...

    Julian Savea

The 'word' is he is thinking of going to either the Chiefs or Saders, with the Chiefs believed to be front runners. A backline of Cruden, Sonny-Bill and Savea would be magic. http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/9104478/Chiefs-surprise-leaders-for-Saveas-signature

I have been on this forum a few years now and virtually EVERY game of the Wallabies vs the ABs there has been a contingent of whiners convinced they are the victims of a ref' conspiracy, or that the reason the Wallabies lost is because the ABs are better cheats. It is f'kin boring.

I think your best longterm option at 10 is Lilo, with someone like Rob Horne at 12. To'omua appears no better than a safe option. I think he had great ride behind the Brumbies pack and was lifted by them. Lilo seems to have more vision and seems much more comfortable at international level.

He has met mine. He fully expected him to play really well. His game awareness is excellent for such a young guy.
