Pocock ran the water for Canberra Vikings tonight. Said his knee is coming along well.

    Wallabies Positivity Thread . .

If we win (or draw) it'll be the Wallabies first undefeated Home Test season since 2007.

    Wallaby Captaincy

Quade actually made sensible comments yesterday. Made me wonder if he'd have gotten it ahead of Hooper if fit at the time as Link has picked him as a Reds captain previously. I agree with Moore as captain if fit though. Would love us to pick O/S players next year though and make Giteau his...

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

Yeah, not long ago. Rupert thought it was a good idea - he'd probably be at the ground in some capacity anyway. Doesn't seem to be much of a buzz around town yet for the match. Hopefully that changes tomorrow with a few player appearances etc.

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

Anyone know what the pre-match entertainment is besides the NRC match? Thinking it would be good to have Rupert McCall out on the ground reading out the "Golden Thread" thread while our blokes were warming up. It'd fire up the crowd a bit and maybe the team too.

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

You could do something with an AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 100th match theme like "Swoop in for a Wallabies win" although Reg's one was good.

    Wallabies v All Blacks @ Suncorp - 18/10/14

Quade is sounding settled & quietly confident. It may be AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s 100th match but they should all be playing as if it's their last tests. Could well be for some. Hope we go hard out for the full 80 and make the most of our opportunities. Not start well only to piss it away like the last 2 Tests...

I'm starting drinking at 2pm on Saturday arvo, get 2 matches of rugby for the price of 1 and I've found my last "Rooting for the Wallabies" Stubby Cooler!

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

I wonder if the Burgess twins will follow Sam across to rugby. Wonder if they love Oz so much now that they'd get passports & play for us?

Seems like Bath are pretty excited that Sam Burgess is coming.

Brisbane City - NRC Team Official Thread

No Genia again for the Wallabies this weekend so you'd expect Bris City to field a pretty shit hot halves combo next Thursday night. And maybe also in the 3rd Bledisloe curtain raiser.

    National Rugby Championship 2014

Hmmm, so now that it's on Tele, the big question is do you still head into the ground early or stay in the pub. Team lineup will probably decide that one for a few.

    Argentina v Australia, Mendoza 4/10/14

Having a giant at 12 isn't fantasy though. Just an option the Wallabies haven't explored for years. And given our results over the past decade, maybe it's time they did.

    Argentina v Australia, Mendoza 4/10/14

The time might have come to give Bob Dwyer's idea a crack and play Kuridrani at 12 with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13. Forget about having 2 "playmakers" kicking the ball away and just run over the Argies. And while we're there, Izzy to wing, KB (Kurtley Beale) to fullback.

Springboks vs Wallabies @ Newlands 27/9/2014

Not for me. 4am you can go to bed early, wake up & watch the game until 6am, then have breakfast, stuff around arguing about the match on here for an hour and by then the lead up to Pumas v ABs is on the tele. And if you're in Nz it'd be 6am start so fantastic for them.

Springboks vs Wallabies @ Newlands 27/9/2014

Just out of curiosity, why does this match kick off at 5pm local time? No matches in Australia kick off at 5pm local time. Is it a traditional South African timeslot or just done to make it hard for Aussies to watch live? I mean a 3pm local kick off would be 11pm here or 9pm in Perth so ok...

Rugby League players who could have/could make the switch

Ofahengaue is apparently miles in front of the rest of the U20's comp in run metres. Hopefully his uncle can have a chat to him about a code switch. http://www.broncos.com.au/news/2014/09/26/big_jo_bracing_for_dragons_fire.html

How many NRC games have you attended?

3 so far and will finish with 5. The Bris City Ballymore Matches + the Test curtain raisers on the GC and at Suncorp.
