    Barbarian F.C. v Bristol Bears, 8/9/23

Any idea if it’s being streamed?

Wallabies v Portugal, RWC Pool C, Mon 2 Oct 2.45AM

Just had a look; in France, 2 are T14, 9 are D2 and one is national, some players teams weren’t listed on the list I went from and the rest play in Portugal. Highlander put the 2 T14 players

Another thing, this push for bigger more physical 7s. Until we see Tom Hooper, Langi Gleeson and whoever else is touted as a potential bigger wallaby 7 I’d like to see them playing there at Super Rugby level. We need to pick them on form at 7, not at what they might be capable of at 7 from 6/8

Yeah, France/Ireland seem to be whoever’s there first hits the breakdown, doesn’t matter who. We have these systems to get it to specific players, so those players seem to be waiting to run the ball instead of hitting the rucks. Makes our attack easy to read and our breakdown easy to attack.

Sorry, pulled my previous reply when looked up his history and I saw he was indeed experienced in rugby.

Someone else wrote he was joining the BaaBaas in Barcelona for their game this week

    Wallabies 2023

It could be a black eye if it’s set up, few attend and it’s reported in the press. Probably better to promote existing establishments (pub, club, casino) and have a camera there to cut to when something happens

Exactly, we aren’t exactly flush with $ at the moment, paying Eddie for 4 years to not coach could be catastrophic

Yep. I’m with you on that

My comments were more related to the overall tournament. Which probably doesn’t belong on a match thread. Thankfully he made it through the Fijian game, so yeah, play him for 80 if necessary to get the win and hopefully move to the quarters

It was more about getting Bell, who played virtually no Super Rugby this year through a seemingly innocuous incident, through this tournament. We can agree he is important to our campaign, right? We had two vital games to get to the quarterfinals, we lost the first one, so yeah, all hands on deck for Wales.

I can see that being the best option. It just seems all props are injury prone, Bell didn’t play much Super Rugby this year due to injury. So I’d be managing Bells workload so we don’t lose him along with Tupou. I understand depth is an issue, but other than Tupou, we should have the best fit options...

HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) and Talaki have at least played 3 games over there, compared to Pones how many?

No it’s good Pones there, injured, again

    RWC Pool C - Australia v Wales - 5AM 25 Sep AEST

tout fact is, we risked Bell by playing him for the entire match because we have 2 THPs that aren’t playing at present and had to use Slipper there instead and Eddie didn’t trust his third choice LHP. Sure, we can wait for Tupou to come good, he’s worth it. But Pone? We have Talaki and HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes)...

Assuming he came to the Tahs, IMO the fastest transition would be to IC. We have plenty of centres though

Nothing stopping you anyways, him and Crichton are good mates. Run with it!
