Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I think you'd either have Lilo or Beale in the squad, but probably not both. Certainly not both on the bench. They are way too similar.

Homophobic remark in Tahs Brumbies game

its worrying that there's almost as many people on this thread criticising pocock as there is criticising pots. This issue wouldn't have got the attention it deserves if pocock had have made a complaint behind closed doors.

Homophobic remark in Tahs Brumbies game

waaaat. how is objecting to homophobia a "political view"?! The idea that you are condemning pocock for taking a stand against this crap is crazy. Pocock is clearly a man of conviction. He has strong views on environment protection and social equality. He's refused to get married because of...

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

That sounds like a really depressing thread. I'd prefer to keep talking about our awesome 7s.

Homophobic remark in Tahs Brumbies game

perhaps the bloke should concentrate on his ball handling and less on bullying.

Homophobic remark in Tahs Brumbies game

nice to hear it wasn't anyone from the wallabies. the fact that it was a Saffa, makes it less of a PR disaster from an ARU perspective.

Homophobic remark in Tahs Brumbies game

Out of interest, last night I watched an ESPN documentary about Duke University basketball star Christian Laettner in the 80s. At one point there was an untrue rumor circulating that he was in a gay relationship with a team mate, and the hatred for Laettner/duke was so intense among opposition...

Homophobic remark in Tahs Brumbies game

yeh if I was the ARU I'd keep the name of the offender confidential if possible, and fine them a small amount. I'm not sure this requires someone's name to be dragged through the mud and potentially create some resentment between players in the wallabies camp. What is worrying is not just that...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I thought Beale had a much better game than Lilo yesterday. Though he still slipped a few tackles.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Higgers is probably in my squad on current form. I really like how he's been playing for the rebels this season. Much better than last season. He is certainly "on the fringe" but might be doing enough to win a spot.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Its the way that Pocock carries himself not just as a rugby player, but as an individual, that make me believe that he has the qualities I want in a Wallabies captain. Based on the reports of homophobia coming out of the tahs game, pocock has once again showed his character by standing up for...

    Waratahs 2015

i say good on pocock for having the balls to say something. If that type of stuff is going on on the field it needs to be addressed. This isn't the 1980s.

    Waratahs 2015

I find this poor humour. just the type of crap Pocock is trying to draw attention to.

Waratahs v Brumbies, round 6, Sunday 22 March

pretty entertaining game. well played by the tahs. I thought Joubert made some strange calls. The Fardy send off was ridiculous. Very physical game. The scrum battle was really intriguing. I wouldn't be surprised if the Brumbies have the last laugh in the return match.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Good to see Poey back. It took him about 5 minutes to get his first steal. lets hope he can stay fit

any news on Kuridrani? Hope its not a serious injury

Don't agree with this at all. Our line-out hasn't been our problem.

    Wallaby Locks

My point is that out-going coaches aren't normally involved in recruiting. there are many reasons for that, not least of all it is hard to sell a player on joining a team / culture if you're not going to be a part of it. I'm sure Douglas wants to be a part of Cheika's world cup squad. the hard...

    Wallaby Locks

Douglas would be a nice option to have, but I'll believe it when I see it. It certainly not the first article I've read this year from a Sydney journo talking about trying to get Douglas to the world cup. One major stumbling block (leaving aside Leinster's attitude towards him leaving) would be...
