    ISA Rugby 2012

Given that you guys travel as far as Orange for a game, would anybody entertain the thought of allowing Marist and St Edmunds from Canberra into the ISA rugby? Would benefit schools as both ends I think.

    ACT - Stand alone ASC

Due to some clubs in the ACT U18 comp being unable to field sides every week the time has come for ASC member schools to draw a line in the sand and look at re-commencing the ASC as a stand alone competition. Not being able to get a game each week is doing nothing for the development of players...

    ACTJRU U18 & ACT Schools XV 2012

Sorry people, this may upset a fe of you but I am afraid the time has come for the schools competing in the u18 ACTJRU to draw a line in the sand with the club sides and let them know enough is enough. With the exception of Vikings and to a lesser degree Wests the other club sides are making a...

    Waratah Cup & Shield 2012

Oakhill ran away with their game 41-7. They are a big and well organised team with plenty of options in both the forwards and backs. Marist looked out of sorts and never really seemed to turn on. Oakhills bigger pack and direct running in the backs won out in the end. Marist had a much smaller...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2012

Thanks Thanks for that, do you know the answer to my question though?

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2012

Yeah I'm not really sure of the ratio between the two. The main reason I ask is that looking at the top ten schools who have provided Aust Schools reps, three (St Eddies, Marist Canberra and Brisbane State High) are day boys only. The other seven have a boarding component. Joeys tops the list...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2012

Can somebody help me out just to satisfy my own curiosity, how many Aust Schools reps produced by Joeys since they allowed day students have been day students as opposed to full time boarders? There is no hidden agenda with this question I am simply curious to know the answer. If anybody knows...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2012

Thanks Chief, all very relevant points. I had not seen the great bald ones post before so thank you for showing me this. These factors and the consequent slide in results must be devestating to Joeys old boys who for so long have delighted in taunting and reminding old boys of other schools...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2012

Does anybody wish to comment on whether Joeys mystique and aura of invincibility finally died forever? As a GPS outsider but someone who played against Joeys in trial matches regularly during the 90's it is scary if not impossible to ponder if this is the case. I have a close friend who is a...

    CAS Rugby 2012

Or maybe GPS just need to STOP recuiting players and coaches and just work harder to produce quality players and teams with the kids they get as full fee payers. This would seem more logical than CAS selling its soul and losing its ethical approach to the game.

    Waratah Cup & Shield 2012

Yep, Marist 40 Knox 0. Isnt that pretty clear. Wait for the Knox response that they played their 3rds of u16's because their CAS commitments are their priority at the moment. I am certain it will come eventually.
