Wales vs Australia, 5 November 2016, (1:30am 6 November AEDT) @ Millenium Stadium

Couldn't agree more, Wales need to evolve our game. It's a chance for Howley to put his own stamp on the squad & play with a little more invention. They won't though, Gats will be pulling the strings behind the scenes & we'll be trying to bash it up (badly) for 80mins. Can see Aus winning easily...

    England vs Wales

Pointless exercise for both sides, but they'll still get a sell-out crowd paying top dollar. If they use it to blood some fringe players it could be useful, but if it's the usual suspects just battering each other then pointless. I'd rather play a warm up in NZ if they need a run out.

Apparently under UK law (since 1978) it's illegal to say anything discriminatory against any ethnic minorities which gypsies are now classed as. He could be in hot water but I doubt it, he got away with the forearm smash on a player lying on the floor with no citing.

    RWC: ARG v SA - 3RD-PLACE PLAYOFF

True, I wasn't suggesting he was biased just shite ! :)

Horrible decision by Lacey to allow SA to win back possession to score that try.

We won't go anywhere, it'll be the same arm wrestling contest every season. And we'll stay where we are now. Don't think basic skills in the NH will ever match the south. Too much emphasis on power & defence. Wales have players like Matthew Morgan & Jordan Williams who are very talented but...

What a turnaround, Ireland looking like they were in the ascendancy at the beginning of the half but Argentina - what can you say ? Outstanding !

Thanks for that, it is frustrating at times I'll admit but still proud of the effort from all the squad. Take your point about a change but if it's not Gatland to go I'd be happy if they just freshened up his backroom staff to get some new ideas in there. Australia knew they needed to beef up...

Forgot about him & 1/2p - although 1/2p doesn't offer too much in Gatlands game plan.

Unfortunately that's what you get with Gatland & his coaches. We play an abrasive style which works (pretty much anyway) against NH sides. What he does he does well but there is little or no variation to our play which will always hold us back on the biggest stage. The biggest downside for us in...

RWC QF 1 WAL v RSA (Twickenham) 18th Oct 0200 AEDT

Wales ran out of steam at the end but a heroic defensive performance. SA looked like they'd still be playing next week before getting close to scoring but one of the few touches of class with a wonderful offload to score the try. We didn't help ourselves by fluffing a gilt edged chance in the...

RWC QF 1 WAL v RSA (Twickenham) 18th Oct 0200 AEDT

The only reason we lost that 2nd test was the crazy decision to oust Adam Jones. Our scrum went well until over the hour mark then Aaron Jarvis came off the bench, got bent in two at the next 2 scrums giving away needless penalties/field position. Handed SA the initiative & the game. Every Welsh...

That's still a very strong looking 23. Looking forward to this match, it's hard to call & could be a cracker !
