Did you hear anything about what, if anything, was finalised last night?

    Waratahs 2014

There is always the beer can and chips in the pocket approach, best way to avoid the queues if you want a drink and something to eat during the footy. Thats $15 they won't be getting off me.

    Northern Hemishpere Rugby 2013

Not sure why the English league should get 6 qualifiers tbh, they're teams are terrible for the most part and rarely feature in the most watched games on TV. Its ridiculous that they've moved the HQ from Dublin, it was based there because of the hugely favourable Irish tax laws not some Celtic...

    Northern Hemishpere Rugby 2013

So the new Heineken Cup will have 4 less teams but cost 35% more to run because we need to appease the PRL wankers who couldn't quite grasp the concept of a tax haven. The extra costs should be taken out of the money they get for taking part.

    Sharks v Tahs, round 7 2014

Toughest game of the year so far, I would agree with BHs team. A bonus point here is the minimum requirement if we can take 5 points out of South Africa it will have been a satisfactory trip. Has the referee been announced yet? i.e Will we be left with someone as one eyed as the guy in charge...

    Sydney Subbies 2014

Sydney Irish played Waverly in a 3 grade trial. We had 3 grades worth of backlines but some forwards had to double up. Didn't help that we were missing 5 of our first grade pack from last year with injuries. Thirds lost 3 tries to 1, seconds won 3 to nil and firsts lost 3 to 2.

    Tahs v Rebels Rnd 6 2014

Couldn't agree more Izzys support lines are probably the second best feature in his game behind his aerial skills. The line for the 4th try was superb.

    Tahs v Rebels Rnd 6 2014

Not a great night for me spent the whole first half pontificating about how Horne would be a much more effective 12 than KB (Kurtley Beale), then at full time @lindommer and @pfitzy ruined the good impression I was making on the in laws. Workmanlike from the Tahs tonight, tended to look a bit flat once the...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Rugby World Cup: Uruguay's Teros hold few terrors for improving Eagles You won't get them to admit it, but the US should book a place in England by beating their South American challengers http://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2014/mar/20/rugby-world-cup-2015-usa-eagles-uruguay

    Tahs v Rebels Rnd 6 2014

It will be interesting to see how long Skelton can last the pace in this game. The Rebels will look to keep the tempo up to move our big pack around. Could be a great indication of where his fitness is at this year.

    Waratahs 2014

AFL isn't my thing, the missus is keen on it but is an Eagles fan so they'd be the only players I'd know. Between rugby nerd things, GAA, cricket and EPL soccer I barely have enough time to get familiar with the local sports. That and avoiding the tabloids like a plague is probably why I'm not...

    Waratahs 2014

My comment was more in relation to getting the attention of the Americans to rugby. I had read that Adam Goodes was the Australian of the Year and I have heard his name mentioned in the press before but I wouldn't know what he looked like, just as a Yank wouldn't have the fainest idea who 99.9%...

    Waratahs 2014

I saw a Swans top and assumed it was Buddy, on closer inspection and with the help of Google I've realised its Goodes. My point still remains though

    Spring Tour 2014 (November Internationals)

Good to see Georgia are getting a meaningful test match, Ireland in fairness always seem to play one test against a "minnow". I'd love to see the New Zealand play in one of the emerging European Nations or the Pacific Islands once in a while, it would do wonders for the games. That said non of...

    Waratahs 2014

If it was Izzy or no one for us why was Lance Franklin in the photo? ADP and SBW I can understand but what Americans would care about AFL? They have enough boring sports as it is!

    Sydney Subbies 2014

They'll need to sort this out sharpish, the season is supposed to start in two and a half weeks!

    Six Nations 2014

England seem to benefit from the perception that they have a strong scrum, referees don't seem to be as keen to punish them as they would if say Ireland or Australia were getting pushed back in similar fashion

    Sydney Subbies 2014

Ah my mistake, was impressed with the skills of the Randwick players. Some of the passes that the forwards were able to execute were very impressive. We have our last pre season game this week against Waverly, full club trial planned but we'll see what kind of numbers 3rd grade get. More than...

    Six Nations 2014

Best team won the championship, decent first year from Schmidt but we'll look back at the England and NZ and think what could have been. Player of the match today has to be Andrew Trimble, finally looks like he has arrived in international rugby.

    Six Nations 2014

Cracks papered over for Wales, Gatlandball may work against Scotland but nothing has changed in the game plan that will scare the big 3 for June and November.
