Rugby Championship in an Aussie bubble?

Somewhere, someone is going to have to compromise. If it means the NZ players see their families on the 26 and not 25th then as much as I feel sorry for them it is not the end of the world.

Rugby Championship in an Aussie bubble?

https://www.sarugbymag.co.za/springbok-coaches-raise-rugby-champs-concerns/ I reckon it's looking 50/50 at this stage. The logistics of all this might kill off the Boks' participation. Add to that the likelihood that some ANC politician will use the opportunity to score some political points...

Rugby Championship in an Aussie bubble?

On ice. In rehab. With ten dieticians. phyions, trainers, doctors around them. Still training at facilities in a system. Not locked up in your lounge room in front of the tele. And they are never on ice for that long. I believe the 5 to 6 game theory 100% Test rugby physicality is insane...

Perfect bench player. Can cover 11 to 15 and he will not let you down. And he can kick goals. Don't understand how people can't see this. He had a crap game against Fiji where he got stepped a couple of times. Who has not been stepped by a 110KG flying Fijian?

Simone has great hands from what I can see. He played in a Brumbies setup where has was made top crash it up. I think he has something about him.

I think they are bringing who they can. Both SA and Argie. SA players will have two games under their belt. That's it. Argies none from what I know. SA will come with a LOT of new players. At this point we don't even know if any NH players will be added once the window open in November...

Still of the opinion that Wright will be lightweight in test rugby. I hope he proves me wrong. Time will tell.

There is no doubt that you have incredible depth. Everywhere but lock forward. The depth in the front and back rows is embarassing. And Plumtree is a great coach. So yes, your pack will take a step up. But let's see if the others can keep up. Next year that is.

You're gonna make lots of friends here  Super Rugby Aotearo was great. The skills levels were amazing. The defense was very good but nowhere near as marvellous as you suggest. The way the refs policed the breakdown made defense stand off the contact a lot of the time, resulting in a...

Rugby Championship in an Aussie bubble?

Fassi out for fout month JL duP has been playing lock for Sale all season. And very well at that. A tad short but more than physical enough. He could be a bolter. Fassi out for four months. Damn Lock forward is a BIG worry. Moerat looks the most promising of the lot but still green...

To my knowledge they are citizens and should be eligible. I think Ruan has come on in leaps and bounds. He played back row at school. He might well be knocking on the door at some point. Mate. You should hear me after 21 years.

+1 Hope to see that. In which case LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) or Simmons will have to call the lineout with someone else at 4. One other option is to play a tearaway off the bench like Mcreight as LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is able to cover 6. So: Philip, LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) Samu, Hooper, Wilson Bench: Mcreight, Simmonds (eek) That would be...

But you cannot play him and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) together as far as I am concerned. Too similar. One or the other. If you play Wright at 6 you do not need Simmons just so he can call the lineout.

The person normally tasked with running the lineout does so offensively and defensively. They study the opposition. They watch lots of tape. They get to know the Hookers and jumpers of all the teams they oppose. They study formations. They eye up the opposition as they walk towards the lineout...

When Rassie insisted that PsdT moves to blindside everyone said he is too slow. But I take your point. There has been too much fiddling wiht people out of position out the lat few years,
