    Kurtley Beale

Suggest that RUPA gets involved early on this one, particularly after the ignorant way the ARU handled the Dublin matter without them. Integrity applies at all levels, not just with players.

    Waratahs 2015

My comment was in relation to the signing of Folau. Giving him credit for that is like awarding the waiter a Michelin Star for food prepared, cooked and plated by the chef.

    Waratahs 2015

Please don't give any credit to Allen for signing Folau. All the heavy lifting including the initial approach was done by others. Other players who signed were in 2 categories. They either wanted to come home like Phipps, Beale and Hooper or they wanted to play for the coach.

    Hopefully Penrith league team.

All Blacks vs Springbokke @ Wellington

The Springboks best chance is to bore them to death.

    Australia v South Africa - Perth - 6 September 2014

After watching both tests yesterday, one noticeable difference is in the body height and leg drive of the AB and Wallaby locks. Ours just don't seem to able to move bodies any where near as well. We hit higher and stop, the AB's hit lower and leg drive. Importantly they do this in both attack...

    IRB to become "World Rugby"

Doesn't Sydney Uni own the "World Rugby" domain?

NRC Law Variations - have your say

So far so good. It will be interesting to see whether any coaches find a loophole in the new laws and exploit it. Maybe they have already and we and other coaches haven't picked it up as yet.

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Simmons is the Wallabies reincarnation of Al Baxter. Both seem like nice chaps, both wouldn't bruise a grape.

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

We can't fix everything overnight. How do you eat an elephant - one bite at a time. Probably start with; Basics Body height, leg drive, running straight, picking the right players in their correct positions. Defending the 5m line out. World rugby knows that the Wallabies are vulnerable to the...

Any solution for the crisis in Gaza?

    National Rugby Championship 2014

I think about it from the player's perspective too. When you're upside down, or making split second decisions under pressure on whether a player in your peripheral vision is a team mate or opposition the colours of the kits make a real difference.

The train has left the station Snort and you seem to have judged the whole journey at the very first stop. Hang in there and give it some time, at least a few complete rounds.

    Waratahs 2015

Don't know a lot about him but here's hoping.
  18. It is what it is

    New Zealand v Australia - Auckland - 23 August 2014

Hooper could have been on the left wing when that final scrum formed for all the help he could have provided. Great teams would have had a clear plan of how to retain possession until they forced a penalty, scored a try or took the field goal option, irrespective of where the scrum packed and...

Boidin is a no nonsense hard 'on baller' but is he big enough to play lock at Super Rugby level?

I don't know of a standout but there's plenty of time. Cheika has demonstrated his ability to wait and get the right player before.
