Blues have already picked up BOP fullback/winger Narawa. Looks very sharp. The anti-Michael Collins.

    RWC 2019 SF1: New Zealand v England

Yeah on attack I think ALB suits 13 better as he has more space to use his pace, quick feet and offloading game. He certainly shone at 13 in Bledisloe 2 and in the opening game v Boks. JG could be a nice defensive option though if England go with Tuilagi at 13.

    RWC 2019 SF1: New Zealand v England

Todd wasn't actually that good off the bench vs Ireland. I think the extra bulk of either Frizell or Tuipulotu could be handy. Nervous about what sort of tricks Eddie Jones has up his sleeve but excited to see us put everything out there against these guys.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final New Zealand vs Ireland

I would have selected ALB at 13 and have Crotty in the 23. Also would have Ben Smith ahead of Jordie. Can't help but think a bit more bulk (Tuipulotu/Frizell) would be more useful than Todd against the Irish too.

RWC 2019 1/4 Final New Zealand vs Ireland

I understand the neutrals getting behind the underdog team but Ireland have to be the most boring team in World Rugby by some distance. An awful brand of rugby to watch. If they do knock out the ABs i'll be cheering against them the rest of the way.

RWC 2019 New Zealand vs Canada

Really hard to read too much into that game. Weber was far better than Perenara though - Perenara was trying to do way too much fancy stuff rather than just being decisive. SBW, Mounga and Todd were the best of the starters. Some better signs for Rieko in the second 40. Looked to be...

    RWC Pool D - Wallabies vs Wales - Sunday 29 September 2019 @ 5.45pm

Pretty sure AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) scored the try.

What type of ridiculous process do they have where Skeen ends up as a TMO at the World Cup. The guy is a dud TMO. It's obvious in Super Rugby. How does he end up as TMO for a huge game at RWC. Ridiculous.

Tasman get home against a spirited Harbour. Another game to add to the file of Squire going missing against a side who shows some ticker - he was totally anonymous.

Supposedly this is the Auckland side. Plummer and Manu are very welcome returns. 1 Alex Hodgman, 2 Leni Apisai, 3 Marcel Renata, 4 Peter-Chanal Tagaloa, 5 Jack Whetton, 6 Hoskins Sotutu, 7 Blake Gibson, 8 Akira Ioane, 9 Jonathan Ruru, 10 Harry Plummer, 11 Salesi Rayasi, 12 TJ Faiane, 13...

Yep good call Dan54 - he looked good at 8 on the weekend.

Very happy. Jacobson looks a far better prospect than the overrated Squire. I'm guessing Read will be covering lock during pool games if needed. The balance of the props is much better now with a loosehead instead of Franks.

What runs on the board does Squire have? Seriously? It's all hype. I agree - a big no. 6 for the tougher games is a good call - but that's not Squire. How did Squire go vs England and Ireland last year? Rubbish that's how.

He'll be picked. Hansen loves him. I wouldn't. He specialises in carving up against lesser competition and then either going missing or resorting to cheap shots vs tough teams.

Rieko's form is worryingly bad. His game has fallen off a cliff in the last few weeks.

    Worst Commentator Pole Action

This tweet seems to suggest it was Mannix - the tweet seems to be by a Robbie Nock - which links in with the Robbie that DP spoke of - Welsh commentator by the looks

I think your maths needs work. 22 + 4 = 26. That leaves 5 spots available (31 man squad). Rieko and Bender will both go. Josh Ioane looks the odd one out. I'm also not sure Hemopo will go - I'd suggest someone from outside the Bledisloe2 23 will go instead (Frizell, Squire, Fifita or Jacobson).

    Worst Commentator Pole Action

Without having heard the commentary for that game I reckon it's almost certainly Simon Mannix. The term punchable face gets thrown around but I reckon he has a punchable voice - he comes across as a total knob - he's like some sort of Kiwi rugby version of Mark Nicholas the twat English...
