I know the tahs need centres for next year, but I hadn't realised they'd signed Kuenzle already.

It'd be a very odd sort of donation if they did recover their investment.

    Round 13: Brumbies v Crusaders Sat 18th 2.35PM @ GIO STADIUM

I usually really like seeing collars come back, but these are giving media/golf polo vibes. Might look better on the players though.

Sam Cane retiring from test match rugby: He'll still be available for the All Blacks this year per his sabbatical deal, but from 2025 onward he's full time with Suntory.

I preferred the little blue error squares :(

Same length as a good one, unless the break is really bad.

Part of that is seeing the 20 minute red card trial rolled out to more comps (WXV, the Pacific Nations Cup and U20 Championship and Trophy) and some interesting changes to the judiciary and sanction process...

    Waratahs 2024

Nathan Gray, Andy Friend, John Manenti, Peter hewat and Simon Raiwalui for a start. Whoever it is should probably be better supported in terms of experienced assistants than Coleman was, but he has proven he's not up to this level and the demands of a properly professional setup.

    Waratahs 2024

Surely Coleman has to go, it's looking more and more like the tahs will be starting from scratch next year, it's time to hand the keys to someone else.

Aside from the fact that Schoupp and possibly Slipper now are injured I agree, except for Vella. He's a good prospect but he's not there yet. Throwing him at test match rugby would probably do more harm then good.

He's been pretty good when on the field, but in and out with injury. It's compounded by the fact that Ravai is killing it and Fa'agase is playing his best rugby, sot there's a bit of competition on that side of the scrum.

    Wallabies 2024

Yeah, Gibbon next. After that it's a bit of a flat field of Hodgman, Fa'agase, Kailea and Johson-Holmes. Maybe Hoopert could storm into contention now that he's back, but he'll be coming off very little rugby in the past 2 years. Not sure if there's anyone other than Johnson-Holmes currently...

    Wallabies 2024

If he does it for Australia A sure, but I wouldn't be picking him for that either. Shute Shield is not in anyway a high enough level to prove anything. To be clear I was and am arguing against having him in the squad at all. As far as the others go, Wright should be in the squad on from as it...

    Wallabies 2024

Hooper's form was also well down over the last two years, it's difficult to argue it would've improved not playing 15s. I'd be amazed to see him in a squad this year. Aside form McReight's excellent form, I'd argue all of Wright, Tizzano, Reimer and Scott have been in better form this year than...

Not sure the Havili experiment is anywhere near done just yet, but I think the major worry they have with Mo'unga is that if he sees out his 3 year contract in Japan he will have served his stand down period and will swap eligibility to Tonga or Samoa, and at that point they'll be shit out of...

Unfortunately it needs 75% to vote for it and there doesn't seem to be any interest in the North.

    Refereeing decisions

I'm in two minds about this one, there's definitely an argument it meets the on field red threshold, but i still don't think we have clarity around where that is set compared to the other infringement types like striking which are clear and obviously a full red. Also there's no way they'd come...

    Wallabies 2024

For mine, Wright's play is still pretty suited to 7 and I think his form makes him the obvious choice. His lineout work also gives you a bit more freedom around the other selections in the backrow to balance things out. It's all a hypothetical though and the nature of the theoretical injury to...
