Wallabies Squad - the Link Era

I don't think his first choice is to kick. He does kick to the game plan and you do notice his kicks because they are largely effective. He doe lead the Brumbies run metres by quite a bit and if you compare the kicks in play with some of those accused of running rugby they are not that much...

    Brumbies vs Cheetahs Prelim 2

Unfortunately the forecasts during the week were for sleet and possible snow for Sunday afternoon. Would have scared lots away. There must have been a lot of no shows who bought tickets as there were plenty buying at the gate and per sales were about 14000. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Reds 2014

Why the blame on Graham. During the week both Kevin and Genia stressed the positives of Links record over the NZ teams and credited him with the game plan. They talk about Link as the coach. Did they not realise who was coaching? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I think you underestimate the Cristchurch crowds view of he 2011 cheap shots at McCaw Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

What do you make of Benji Marshal to rugby?

That's why I laughed when Rupert Murdoch said we had to pay for news limited Internet if we wanted to maintain quality journalism. If only :-( Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Crusaders v Reds Prelim 1

The Reds better get another penalty. Can't see Carter missing a conversion in a clutch match. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Crusaders v Reds Prelim 1

13 All Blacks v 13 Wallabies. On performances over the last 8 years with those internationals you would have to give favouritism to the Crusaders. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Aus vs NZ - 1st Test Sydney 17Aug2013

Not sure dropping a knee in or cheap shots from behind counts as good competition. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Reds 2014

You would have to be crazy to put any of the 3 amigos in the same team. Except for Beal's punch up in SA nearly every incident has involved two of them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

You can download the Laws of Rugby from the IRB web site you know. There are lots of mind blowing things there including how a player standing in touch in goal can score a try by puting downward pressure on the ball providing he is not carrying the ball (law 22.4.g) Sent from my iPad using...

    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

I think it comes under 22.15 doubt about grounding. I don't think the precise circumstances are catered for under the rules but 22.15 says 5 metre scrum attacking team to feed where there is doubt as to who grounded the ball. This law does not necessarily relate to being held up (law 22.10)...

    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

Actually the rules say he has to have hold of the Ball. The nonsense Martin goes on about downward pressure only applies if the ball is on the ground. If he is carrying the ball over the line and loses control, putting a finger on it does not count - it is a knock on in goal. Sent from my...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Given the accuracy of the predictions I would like to say he will never score the try that gives us the Bledisloe and that he will never score the winning try in a World Cup Final :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

If we are talking about the try attempt, the video ref said it was inconclusive becuase the assistant blocked his view ie he could not tell whether it was grounded or knocked on. Under those terms the decision is a five metre scrum with the feed to the attacking team. I like the League option...

    Force vs Brumbies, Round 20

I wish it was just you. The teams except the Force and Rebels looked like they hadn't played together for months and were bodge. The reffing was interesting too. I think the yellow card for the Tahs was a bit steep and when a ref doesn't know where a free at the scrum has to be taken or how a...
