yes agreed some names left out but joeys need to look further afield if it wants to avoid a repeat of the last few years. yes o'shea is a fine player but wright is a better fly half - quicker, stronger - would o'shea be better in the centres or full back than the other boys named? i think not...

Don't know why the tigers would bother signing Deegan when they've got some of the best young league halves around in brooks and Moses not to mention sironen already playing five eight in first grade. Deegan is fine but there is no shortage of outstanding league halves. As for being a league...

Latrell has finished year 12 and signed with the melbourne storm. here's hoping joeys 2014 are a welcome improvement on the last few years!

Those three joeys boys would go well, wright had a great year. Don't know about fitness after long season grant played the last few games with a bad knee injury (still played superbly) A couple of scots boys would be considered too.

Terrific game deserving of a less biased referee he completely caned joeys. Not taking away from a determined and tough kings side but the ref soured the game. Joeys two tries to one. Strong games from kings Cameron king and joeys Eddie king and Dylan grant who scored a blistering solo try.

Seriously, where is this "great" joeys side? They have been belted by view and then new, they can't tackle to save themselves. they are hugely disappointing with the rare exception their backs play like they have concrete boots on. Let's not talk them up there are a few good forwards but...

Wouldn't read too much into that score. An already weak opposition had a player sent off. Yes the 16s are a good side but next week will be a real test today was just a training run.

Don't want to make this about one player because there are others deserving mention but it is amazing what some people see when they watch rugby d grant is exciting and fast and gets the ball over the line constantly end of story. Scots apparently offered him a scholarship to tempt him across so...

Agree about king and grant. I've never been a fan of streeter mason very average IMHO. I think half back will be joeys weak point. I'd also throw in lachie Simpson from 16a for a spot in the forwards.

Don't know how he has gone today but full back isn't his go he is a better fly half. His only problem is defence he falls away too easily and doesn't aim up strongly enough one on one. Hope he blitzes it though. The other player I would love to see at the end of an opens backline is Dylan grant...

Yeah he played and actually turned the game with a great break and then a one handed around the corner pass to the put the winger in in the corner. It put joeys in front. He and Tom wright have been stand out players this year in a very strong joeys 16s.
